It was said that Konisch silver shells won’t get a higher price, since these silver shells are in fact subcaliber, they are “gold rounds” in disguise.

Addendum: just compared the 122mm BL-9 APCRs to the 120mm SA 46 ones, as both cost 12 gold and are about in the same size class. Guess what? The latter penetrates better AND does more damage.
FRENCH BIAZ! :P

(Also, don’t use the short 88.)

Dude. ATM for example the French 90mm APCR shells cost just as much as the 100mm ones (10 gold/4000 silver) and nearly as much as the 120mm ones (12/4800) – and for example the US 105mm APCRs used by say the T29 *also* cost 12 gold.
Guess which patently gives you the most “bang for your buck” by a long shot?

May I ask, which of the PzGr. 40′s is the one used on the short 88 (KwK. 39 L/56)?
Because it’s price is curently (0.8.5) much higher then the real difference in damage and penetration between standart AP and the premium APCBC/APCR… (the premium shell has 171mm!! average penetration, which is even less then the standart shell on KV-1S’ top gun, yet every shot costs nearly four times the price of the 122mm AP… and I am not crying “russian bias”, which I think is mostly bullshit, but the doubtful effectivness of this “gold” shell is absolutely nullified by it’s cost)
