That’s why i suggested ‘unlockable for purchase’ i.e, not free, but perhaps same/similar price as a regular Tier 10. Hence, its like researching a Tier 10 tank with your achievements over time, but buying it like any other Tier 10 tank.

Both were nerfed in 0.8.5 if I recall correctly. KV-13 used to reach 60 km/h and the IS’ mantlet armor was toned down, don’t know for sure if the frontal armor was as well.

And the fact they were overpowered doesn’t mean they weren’t nerfed; they were nerfed because they were unbalanced, and that’s usually the main reason for vehicles to be adjusted despite all the “Russian [sic] bias” myth.

Still, it would mean giving away for basically free another tier 10 tank to few thousands of people, so WG can’t profit much from them. Setting “20k battles or more” only promotes bots, kills/avg damage are bit better. [SerB] let’s put new year event, where people during 1-2 weeks who score at least 300 battles, 500 kills and achieve average raw exp of 600 will be allowed to buy Tier 10 LoLtraktor for 10mil price [/SerB]

The Tier 10 ‘reward tanks’ like M60 should be ‘unlockable for purchase’ (not free) for random players upon certain career achievements, such as 10-15k kills, 10-20 million damage done, 100 top guns, etc. Then career achievements would actually mean something and award decent veteran players. Its not very easy to exploit such career achievement system, as you can just get the 15k kills or 100 top guns without actually playing and performing in battles.

Sure, just like the SU-85, the KV, the IS-2, the KV-13 or the KV-3… oh wait.

SU-85 was OP, KV was split for the same reason, KV-13, aside from moving tiers I don’t recall it being nerfed, same with the KV-3. and I don’t recall the IS getting nerfed at all in my memory.

I really don’t understand why the M60, a tank that was mass produced and saw service, must become a CW only reward. Couldn’t they pick some fake fantasy prototype tank to go with the VK 7201 K and Object 907 instead?
