An ongoing evaluation is underway in the World of Warships forum regarding interactions between surface vessels and submarines, that is currently taking an objective view. Initial evaluations have already determined submarines have a limited role capability. However, we are still conducting further evaluations, which will provided data across four decades. We finished a preliminary evaluation between the Fletcher DD and two late-model submarines, the Russian 99 and the German Type 21. In our initial conclusions, we are seeing both pros and cons for submarine inclusion, but there is still more work to be done. You can read more about this in the forums.
