Some of the first mobile AA guns were placed on the back of trucks by Krupp as early as Krupp-Daimler Motor Gun built and exhibited in 1909. I have a drawing of it my by book but cant find a copy online.

Symmetry in the designs? They look like a couple of battleships or star-cruisers laid out in the yards. Very machinery heavy and industrial. Yes, beautiful.
