Those should work for starters. The scary thing is that the Anthrax bombs were seriously considered and would have been used without any consideration for, or any input asked, from the United States. It was serious enough that crews were trained, study’s done of the impact, bombs prepared and bomb bays modified to carry the bombs. The only reason it was never carried out was that the war wound down just enough that by the time all the studies and preparations (bomb making) was done it was no longer needed to win or slow down the Nazi’s. In order to carry out the strike the British needed X amount of bombs to hit Y number of target cities all at the same time and it took longer then planned to build them all.

Both party lines do have their positives as well as negatives. The Nazi’s are far from the worst scum in the last hundred years. The more you dig into WW2 the more terrifying things you find that make some of the stuff the Nazi’s did look humane and nice(It wasn’t).

There are things out of Romania and Croatia that make the Nazi’s seem like nice guys on the block. Which I find disturbing. But then there are also dark secrets in the UK, Russia, US, and Japan if you know where to look and know what stones to turn over.

Don’t just take my word for it. Do your own research. There are things so disturbing that I got chills just reading about them. It is not the scale (Only a few thousand to few hundred thousand people were affected) when compared to the Nazi’s but its what was done and how that makes it on a whole another level. After reading about it I have wished I had never heard about it in the first place. It was like a sick horror film became reality. Even that might be an understatement.

During the occupation of Czechoslovakia he helped to organise escapes of Czech pilots to Poland, later escaped to Hungary only to be arrested and betrayed by his wife who revealed his true identity. He was able to escate and travel from Hungary, Jugoslavia, Greece, Turkey and Siria to France to be evacuated to Great Britan.

He first severd with the Czechoslovak 310th RAF fighter Squadron, later in 1941 with Brittish 242nd RAF Squadron. He was shot down on the 17th of June over northern France and shortly arrested by Germans. His plane, Hawker Hurricane Mk.IIB, was presumably shot down by Adolf Galland, one of the best aces of the Luftwaffe. Before he was shot down he himself shot down enemy bf109. RAF lost 13 airplanes during this mission.

After beying taken captive while suppressing of his identity Bryks personated himself as british pilot and were taken to prison camp. If the nazis found out that he was czechoslovak he would have been executed as a traitor to the Reich.

Here starts the most famous part of his path: he tried to escape 5 times, 2 times he almost managed it.
One time he tried to escape with Messerschmitt Bf 109, modifed for night dogfights (was caught during last few minutes), second time he managed to escape and joined Polish resistance movement but again he was captured and cruelly tortured, in addition his true identity was revealed because brittish side has sent the record of his promotion with his true name and his nationality to Germans by mistake.
In 1945 allied forces liberated Josef Bryks, he went throught several operations because of the injuries he suffered during the war. For example hes been stabbed to chest during interogations by nazi officer.

On the 3.may 1948 was major Bryks arrested for the preparations of the escape abroad. He was on trial at the military court but were sentenced innocent. New hearing before the state court went according to the plans and Baryks was after the fabricated evidence sentenced for 10 years of prison.

Bryks went through several heavy prison camps. In 1950 was for the making up of the rebellion and escape sentenced to additional 20 years. He was rebellious and tried to riot all the time, he hold hunger-strikes and refused to subordinate with prisoner regime. In the end he was moved to uranium mine Rovnost – “Equality” in Ostrava. His health state was quickly getting worse and the health care and medicines were deprived to him.

Josef Bryks died to infarct during the night from 11st to 12nd august 1957 in his homeland.

After the Velvet Revolution in 1989 he was honorably rehabilitated and in 1991 promoted to colonel and recived several medals for heroism, in memoriam.
