Oh yeah you mean the same Red Army that COOPERATED with Germans in conquering Poland in the first place? The same Red Army that attacked Finland for no reason? The same Red Army that committed rape en mass? In fact Stalin and therefore his Red Army would have attacked the Europe eventually…..The only reason he didnt was that Hitler was ready sooner than Red Army after having its officer cadre gutted by purges. And last but not least dont forget there wasnt just one front in WWII….Allied bomber raids on Germany itself, the Pacific theater was just as important as the Eastern front etc.
So no Red Army beat back the Nazi occupation just to bring its own totality.
Dont get me wrong Red Army has its fair share of credit on the outcome of WWII and it had a lot of brilliant soldiers but an army is always just an extension of the political regime it serves and in case of Red Army that political regime was rotten to the core and even before the war was won this regime was planning on using this army to conquer Europe. This is the same reason America could never win the Korean and Vietnam wars…..the regime didnt have the will to win them although the army was more than capable of winning it.

I like how at the mention of how the Red Army took the brunt of the Nazi forces and how they lost more lives than anybody else. And then some asshole likes to bring up Stalin. You use that name as a pathetic excuse. 85% Just remember that number. While the US and all its other close allies could only manage 15%.

Exactly the same reason that we have non wartorn maps based in the USA as well as Asian maps. Like I said ….want to chose the setting for a map make your own game.
