I’m talking about the 150mm, and I’m comparing to the JT, Ferdie, JP2, etc. The WTE isn’t as accurate as those tanks. Also, its turret, autoloader, and VERY tall profile makes it better suited to ambush and even some slight brawling than it is to sniping.

Before I say anything further, I want to point out that I’ve been playing WoT for almost two years now.

Sniping for *some* TD’s is a valuable tactic. Many (if not all) of the original German TD’s (JPE line) are, honestly, well suited to sniping despite their poor camouflage rating; German tanks in general are known for being deadly accurate at ridiculous range. However, there are other TD’s that are NOT suited at all for sniping; the heavily-armored T110E3/4, the rather-inaccurate (especially for a German tank) WTE, and the Foch 155 with its close-range-bounce-friendly front armor, are examples that spring to my mind. Other TD’s do decently whether sniping or not. The 268′s relatively short gun limits its at-range effectiveness, but the curve of the 268′s front armor means many if not all long-range AP/APCR shots will bounce, meaning sniping is a good tactic if you feel like surviving.

In my final defense, my favorite TD is the SU-152 with the stock gun, using AP and HEAT shells. There’s no such thing as sniping with that setup, but if I find you…you WILL know it.

Yanks are good, Hellcats can make short work of 1S if there aren’t too many.
French might be the underdogs here, as their only valuable tank on tier 6 is the ’44. 12t I will not consider since it’s a scout.
Brits are good. Churchills and AT8 can tank damage while the Cromwells spot and flank around.
Germans could work out but the 1S will have to be countered by VK 36 which is viable only at sniping. The meds are a problem since they are pretty damn large for….meds.

What will happen after 8.11 goes live? I can bet my right jucy ball that all tiers except tier 10 will be overpopulated with TDs. The truth is that tier 8 and 9 TDs have really good potential. They are less forgiving, but they still rock. So expect tier 8 and 9 games will be TD infested untill TDs get a class wide nerf, which is sad for all us old school TD players, not the new schookl pussies only sitting back and snipe and only wanna make big damage on the expense of others.

Fuck all new school players.

Nah, tier VI national will be more frustating than stock ARL V39 in tier 8 match.

Americans are screwed. Unless they have lots of E2s.
French have a chance with decent rof and alpha.
British need to angle their Churchies.
