This would be a well armored tier 6/t7. The ufp is 120mm thick, and the turret can’t be bad either. Wouldn’t be good at side scraping though.

My Favorite example for the fictional tanks is the T28 Prot.
As a Hungarian player I’d like to see it in the game with the possible highest in game performance (which can be achieved only with the German 88mm imo, I don’t know too much about that 80mm AA).

OK, with those numbers, I’ll take it any day of the week :)
The cca 44 tons max mentioned in the primary article describing the Tas coupled with the 720hm top engine, that armor and that -10° depression would make a very nice medium, even better than the Panther in many respects.

I don’t know, this information could only been found in the book “A Magyar Királyi Honvédség fegyverzete”, which is not too reliable in the matter of Tas, as it was printed in 1992. Later sources didn’t mention this option, so I think its just a “lucky guess” by the authors of that book, or something like that, but I could be wrong too.
But even if the Panther’s 7.5 cm KwK 42 was considered as a gun option, the germans were unwilling to sell that gun or its production rights too, just like in the matter of the 88. The germans did not want the Hungarian tank cannon production pause until the industry changes to the new type of gun.

I’m working on a detailed description of the Tas too :)
Just to draw attention:
possible engines: 2x V-8H 4 (Turán) engine (520 hp) and negotiations were held with the germans to buy the Maybach HL230 (700 hp) engine which would be as historical in the Tas as the 88mm cannon

and armour front: 75mm in 30°, 120mm in 75°; 50mm on the sides; 100mm on the turret side and rear.

Sadly, no info about the gun depression, but the experts estimated it around -10°.

I haven’t found any data about the penetration values of that gun yet, I don’t think there are even any info remained about it that could be found :(
All I know is that the 29/44.M 80mm cannon’s AP grenade weighted 8kg (11kg with the shell), its muzzle velocity with AP was 872 m/s, and the muzzle energy was 322,8 mt.
