The 183 has serious drawbacks but none of them prevents the deathstar from annihilating tier 8 heavy tanks in 1 shot even if they are moving. Also positioning yourself in a corridor pretty much means no mediums can come through without having the first one crushed.
This might be completely fine in organized battles, however in a random game the deathstar can give you team a good advantage with just 1 shot and in the end-game it is very difficult to get to one of these if they conserved most of their hitpoints.
Why not help the noobs giving it a faster reload in exchange for a still very deadly 1500 average damage?

Okay I meant that the damage is insane. But Yes, you are right the tank is balanced. bad accuracy, long reload… and if anybody gets oneshoted from full health, he just deserves it. It really takes forever to aim.

regarding the hesh – I think the bad rolls are caused by spaced armor. After penetrating first layer, it does just the splash dmg. Even if the first layer was 1mm thick.

I dont think either that its OP.
Gun is just pure RNG. Hesh is troll ammo, but for both FV driver and for your prey.
I did on test server just about 300dmg on MT. Also, gun is inaccurate, aiming time sucks and worst is reload. AP, while its not as RNG as HESH, doesnt make the tank OP, it haves crappy DPM and 1150 every 25 sec…
Also, it haves meh mobility (unlike HT 215b) and 2nd worst armor of Tier 10 TDs (ofc, WTF E-100 haves the worst, everyone knows it, turret is worse than hull armor of tier 1 japanese)
Dont think that is OP. Can be trollish, but sometimes its frustating.
Balanced tank IMO.

I dont think 183 needs a nerf.
The reload and aiming time is terrible. If you get oneshoted, you deserve that. You have been sitting on the same place for more than 4 seconds. Get a 6th sense.
Sure the gun is OP, but think of it as of arty, not TD.

And NO – I don’t own one.
