Chieftain P6 will probably replace the FV215b.
FV4202 will be replaced eventually, most likely candidate is the Vickers MBT.
There might be a chance FV4202 reapears as tier 8 premium, but that's pure speculation.
eta on everything is unknown.
That's how i understand it.

Magnetic accelerator weapons are an old idea; IIRC Tesla's original "deat ray" concept was actually one, for example. Inventors have been toying with the concept damn near since electromagnetism was discovered.
To wit: http://davidszondy.com/future/war/railgun.htm

Note that some snake-oil salesman also got Himmler sold on the idea of some kind of fancy-schmancy electromagnetic weapon (IIRC pretentiously given the working name "Hammer of Thor" or so) that could be used to *at least* fry bomber engines and God knows what else, and probably brew delicious coffee too on its days off. Took some time for the actual engineers and scientists to explain to him that Electricity Does Not Work That Way...

Well, if you're open to questions!

This isn't tank related however, though it a German WW2 project (if it's even true). I've seen posted on the internet a few times that late in the war German scientists mooted a railgun (as in an electromangetic rail/coil gun, not railway mounted) to act as an anti aircraft device, however it never left the drawing board - apparently the power requirement were utterly obsene (The reccuring claim is that it required the equivalent power of a small city to run, though I'm not sure how that would be possible).

The question is, is there any truth to this, and if so how was it setup? I've never seen any evidence outside of the same few bits of info being mentions online so personally I'm inclined to believe there is no truth to this, though you never know!

Well, I find it very strange that we have 3 tanks with VERY similar playstyles in the game: T-62A, Object 140 and Object 430 . They are not copies of one another historically, but in game terms (more important) They are.

And here we have the JagdMaus problem. It is a supposedly real project and whilst I am certain it wont be TOO different gameplay wise from the JagdPanzer E-100, the difference between an E-100 and a Maus hull in the game is noticeable, so I believe the two tanks will be similar, but NOT as similar as the T-62A and 140 for an example.
One idea I had for the JagdMaus in order to make it MUCH different from the JPZ E-100 was to give it either a VERY high velocity 128mm L66 (or even bigger) or a high velocity long barrel 15cm gun (the 150mm L67 I heard about). That would make the JagdMaus more like the JagdTiger, which is a sniper TD then the JagdPanzer which is a derp TD :D
