Can you tell me how I can find those black tank skins from the second picture, ive seen different tanks with this skin set and wondering can anyone guide me to skin pack or name how to locate these skins online.

The Hell Minimal Garage Mod really helped me a lot. not only my GPU is less stressed but my cursor is not “slugish” anymore, now it moves immediately just like on desktop. And I think this mod looks cool with all that blackness.

Even on standard render, HD tanks are still HD (believe me, I have to switch to standard render because of significant FPS drop) so the problem should be somewhere else in improved render…

Ya most people are terrible at computers so they just automatically think:
9.0 crashing and having FPS problems(For some people and will happen even withOUT any HD tanks being rendered anywhere on map or even in the battle), 9.0 added HD tanks. HD TANKS CAUSE FPS PROBLEMS WG NEED REMOVE HD TANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If HD tanks were causing the FPS problems WG would have already been able to figure it out as they would be able to check and see FPS plummeting as soon as HD models are being rendered when they run debugs. But its not happening like this. The FPS drops aren’t related to HD. They happen too randomly. People with top line computers can get FPS drops with no HD in battle. Or with HD in battle. People with bottom computers can get FPS drops with HD in battle and without HD in battle. You could have two players with the exact same computer both looking at a HD tank an only one of them gets an FPS drop.

The crash to desktop however appears to be related to HD tanks as people report swapping to standard graphics fixing it. The crashes aren’t because HD tanks are adding too much load but instead something in the coding related to them is just going crazy and crashes the game. That one is simply improper coding rather than the HD being load intensive.

You are correct, they don’t stress your PC, per se. What they do seem to be doing, is causing a large number of the CTD people are experiencing. In addition they don’t bring that much to the table, and coupled with the other problems 9.0 has brought, it would be nice to remove them entirely.
Also, the default 9.0 garage brings temperatures of the video card soaring. I *drop* 20 degrees (Celsius) going to battle, from the garage.
