		<description><![CDATA[I certainly agree that it protects the barrel but this is presumable a static display. Saying that if you look at the first picture you can see that the towing cables look like they&#039;ve been used recently and there&#039;s also a concrete block almost under one of the tracks. Maybe the tank has just been moved into place?]]></description>

The vehicle is probably a little more stable in this configuration (mass more central) but in the event of an accident this configuration probably also reduces the chance of damage to the barrel of the cannon.]]></description>
