Hey SS, thanks for this great info. Here in Peru those tanks are so valued because they allowed our country to win a war against Ecuador in 1941. 24 of them came in 1938 from Czechoslovakia, 12 of them saw action in the north of our country. They were the first tanks of our army, and later they were replaced by the soviet T-54/55. (they were upgraded and still in service). A little piece of information, they put the name Junín in that restored tank, which is the name of a province of Peru.

LT-38 and LTP are not the same thing. The Lešany one is in working order, this is a different vehicle.

Uhh, now I am a little confused. I thought that it was only one piece of LT-38/TNH/LTP in the Czech republic (the one from Lešany tank museum). So we have two of them?

In this case it means Lehký Tank – Peruánský (or Peru) – “Light Tank – Peruvian (Peru)”
