It annoys me that they used CV33′s instead of something that can actually punch through armour. The M13/40 for example.

GuP achieved such quality in limited funds by sacrificing the time.
Remember that the last episode had been postponed for a total of three months offhandedly, which is very unusual for a TV anime.

If only they didnt made it with these dumb generic school kids… And as mentioned from someone… The anime had unexpected success and the makers were very surprised. Sadly all the marketing around was a huge money milking fail. For example the GUP model tank series… I actually got one and to my shock and huge disapointment the model was a repacked old cheap shit molding version of an existing Tamiya kit from the late 80′s with horrible detailing. The original model would cost like 10 Euros at most and they put it into a new box with the GUP print on it with a few stickers and priced it at 35 fucking EURO LOL. (now sellers cant sell it in sales for twice less… I guess ppl figured that out already… ).

Thankfully lately more and more better anime pop up that are way more adult… To bad GUP jumped on the old generic shit train.

OVA as said Muhamad Setiadi is Original Video Animation.

The difference is from the broadcasting. The TVseries – as the name suggest – are broadcasting on TV.
OVA however don’t (usually) be broadcast on TV. You need to buy them.
OVA have usually a better quality than TV series, since they have more time to do it.

It’s true for some anime. But in this case this OVA aren’t really a bonus which you can skipped.
Well, we already know that Anzio lose, but you have to watch it, IMO.
