I took driving games as example: you start with a totally clean car – and then during the race, it gets muddy, dirty, snowy, etc… depending on the environment. (Or in GTA even bloody, if you hit a pedestrian. :D )

Would it be that difficult to program that graphical effect in 2014??

I have a 512kbp/s plan with a download speed of 60kB/s. Am I a cheap ass? Nope. Was I(unfortunately) born in a cheap ass country? Yes. Even if I want to I can’t upgrade crap because no decent ISP is willing to expand into my area and what options I do have are either high speed but limited usage or low speed with unlimited usage. I might not have issues with huge client size but I do take issue with forcing me to download HD models that I will probably will never unlock/see and will also take me forever to download. It’s more counter productive given the fact, that Storm made so very clear, that we will never see anyone’s vehicle in HD during battle except ours. So really I ask, why?

Yeah and that is why those ‘just upgrade your internet plan’ pisses me off so much (while normally I don’t let anything on the internet get me :P). My parents home had 300/300 fiber, but here in the middle of town I am stuck with ADSL. And a few streets away they have 500/500 fiber. Ugh.

6/0.8 ADSL here, would be quite happy to be able to do 80GB overnight with 20Mb/s down

I’m sure there’s more than a few people on here far worse off for bandwidth than we are…

600 KBps here, so really great….
And yeah, dont buy 120GB SSD if you want to play WoT. Ever. Bought SSD to fight with that retarded loading and help to get higher FPS. Wont have enough space to load them from…. Just great.
