Tracers come in all sorts of colours, most people are use to seeing only the white/red/orange tracers from Hollywood, while German in WW2 as well as modern day Russians & China quite often used Green tracers. Japaneses Aircraft were also know for firing blue tracers during the late stages of the war.

Because Germany also used green tracers for there LMGs, now if Japan showed up with there blue tracers I’m sure even more people can be confused!
