I just seem to do well in it, eventhough objectively it is far from competitive with tanks like the E50M. I really dont like the accuracy on M46 though, sometimes it can troll you so hard. The gun on M48 seems much more reliable and joyful to use.

- one and half turret above the gun negating good gun depression at close-mid range fights
- worst camo of any medium (420m view range is not enough to compensate it, you’ll be outspotted by most of meds)
- too big to hide in bushes, easier target
- track repair time is above 7s (?) compared to 4s (?) on M46 – rough estimation
It just gains better penetration, gun handling, extra hp and better frontal armor that is not reliable anyway, but it can save you from time to time
M46 is my favorite medium, only weaknesses are penetration (may be solved by premshells) and me
