The ‘Clone’ branch off to the side might actually be a pretty decent idea, not just for the Czechoslovakian part. You’re basically covering all the eastern block countries for historical battles. It’s either that, or introducing the system where you can cram EU crews into soviet tanks, changing their markings for something more appropriate in the process.

Correction: Not that bad if properly balanced

The WT E-100 is an example of one that wasn’t balanced properly. It’s not quite as bad as it used to be now, but it’s still very, very powerful.
