Also, geographic reasons. Czechoslovakia was small country, but lenght of borders was insane. Hungary, Poland and then Germany and Austria, no wonder why mobility was preffered.

Well, no, not really. Then again, you have to define what is “good armor”. At one point (in early 30′s), our “light tank” category was split into “infantry support” tanks and “cavalry” tanks. There weren’t huge differences between them however, the “cavalry” version was supposed to be faster, but in the end, all the prototypes had 25mm frontal armor. The “cavalry” tank category ended up with LT-35 as its result, the “infantry” category was never finished. Then we had medium tanks and “breakthrough” tanks category (the medium category roughly corresponded to early Panzer III, the “breakthrough category” was a disaster – big, thin armor, poor weaponry and slow). So the answer is more like “no”, Czechoslovak army was actually focused on mobility to defend the country from multiple direction attack, it was also based on the legion tradition, which, again, focused on mobility.

Off topic but did the Czechs have any infantry support tanks? Like the Matilda or H35? you know, slow, good armor, with average guns.

Czech tree was scraped by SerB because we are nazis, idots, cowards and so.
So we getting itallians which are very original and definetly not facist.

Гм. Если честно, то что Суринов работал с танками, узнал впервые.
Хотя да, нашёл подтверждение его работ.
Мне сложно конечно. Много информации с разных источников.
Но, согласитесь. Изначальная политика производства танков Германии берёт политику
технологии производство Чехии.

Если хочешь, можешь писать тоже по русски. Да, “бронелист”, понимаю.

Но, экспортные танки Прага, это линия отдельных дизайнов Сурина. Обычно эти танки меньшие, чем клоны TNH-S (например TNH-Sv), которые у Германцев назывались Panzer 38t. Там разниц много.
