You are saying that in order to get t8 med (with stats almost same as SP) You should buy IS-6 for 42 euros and give shitload of money to convert 500k free XP. Rate is 25 free xp for one gold =20 000 gold = 70 euros. So you think that giving 110 Euros~150 USD is ok for a tank roughly the class if SP? Something here is nobrainer, thats for sure…

Unless you’re a tank collector, why would you do this? You can go from tier 1-10 and unlock the entire tree or.. create new account to get this tank only. It doesn’t even seem to be some kind of a special awesome tank. So unless you’re someone who unlocked all the tanks in the game and wants more – what’s the point? Sure, good thing if you got a friend to invite, but otherwise why bother grinding secondary account.

I am fairly sure it is a “free” game, what game are you talking about?

You could sit down and work out the fastest path, but if you can combine this with new player codes then guys might start with tier5 premiums. You would grind your crew first then go to TierX avoiding module upgrades. I haven’t sat down to check the trees fully but there can be a few hundred thousand in savings depending on what tree you pick.

I don’t even have a TierX of my own, so I ideally don’t want to start a dud account to just grind it up to TierX.. Saying that, I am sure it will happen and then players will dump the alt account on ebay or sommit.

I don’t think you can read anything into it, wargaming is just catching up with everyone else. War thunder has been throwing gold at me for a year thanks to a few invites and i barely play it. Same with MWO etc. WoT has been unusual in not having much of a program, and tbh this one is pretty weak as they go since to gain the full benefits you need to actually platoon with the newbie. Its no different from missioning for gold tanks.

I’ll probably make a dummy for myself, but I won’t invest more than a Churchill 3 for crew training and money farming. Maybe a little bit of Gold for retraining at the higher tiers, but that’s the limit IMO.

Does this work for ex-WoT players that have quit because of the 9.X updates? I have lost friends since the HD renovation movements. I would like to get them to play again. They have mostly gone to War Thunder.
