It’s pretty similar to WoT actually… You can still get premiums (although for cheaper) and premium account and gold. They have similar functions to the PC version as well.
Free XP is a big reason to use gold on WoT blitz. I have 80,000 unused XP on my elited Hetzer and I can’t do anything but turn it into free XP… Not to mention free XP has another new use (crew) which makes it more tempting to get some gold.

ye, I gladly would “convert” left-over tank exp to crew (of same tank). Just please no use of gold :D

Unified crew skills would be nice when you are on a quest to unlock every tank in the game, playing with shit crews gets old, but yeah not gonna happen because of gold retraining option.
I wonder how do they actually monetize Blitz ? (They probably don’t and rely on WoT income like for planes but still…)

Oh and “Rage” skill – I think I got this one in WoT. It’s not limited purely to medium tanks either, I rage in all vehicle types :-)

I wish WoT had a feature like this.

Or a mechanism where one could use accumulated experience on that vehicle (= leftovers from researching last module needed for elite status) to train the crew of that vehicle.

They could make these procedures cost credits (10 or 100 per point of XP ?).
