I'm not a big fan of the miniduck tbh.it doesn't suit my playstyle, which is high damage output+speed/armor. an example of a tank that fits with my playstyle would be a SU-85B or a Tiger II. I like ELC, but the MM is driving me nuts....literally. if you're not crazy, you haven't played LT nuff to be good, cuz all good LT players are either stupid-brave or crazy =D

Not sad at all.
The AMX 38 is the Duck minus a bunch of flaws and not facing Russian 122s; with the right matchmaking, you can just drive out in the middle of a group of enemies and whoop 'em all (and I will attest to the fun of those situations... :D) ... If you like heavies, against its own tier, the AMX 38 plays the way the IS-6 wants to, but can't.

The Duck can do that occasionally against the right tier 4s but jeez does that thing ever need a buff... Would probably be fine with a big penetration buff so it could hurt tier 5s and inattentive tier 6s...

Most epic WoT battle I had was in that tank. 11(1) kills. With a Steel Wall to boot. The (1) was an arty that went postal and turned blue after his 3rd TK.

Earned it a permanent slot in my garage.

Trying to decide it that's really sad or not.

[…] For the Record has provided a translation of the live journal page of tank researcher Yuri Pasholok describing the French AMX 38 tank. The AMX 38 was essentially a footnote in the story of French pre-war tank design, never getting past the prototype stage. The vehicle was intended to be a slightly larger version of the typical French two man infantry tanks of the period. In general, French tanks have received far less coverage in English language publications than other vehicles of World War II. This article provides far more detail than what is currently out there in print form regarding the AMX 38. Steven Zaloga’s New Vanguard 209 French Tanks of World War II makes only a brief mention of the AMX 38. The much older book AFV Weapons profile 58 by Bingham devotes a short paragraph to the AMX 38.
