The book is about Yehiam Herpez who designed the suspension and track systems for all generations of the Merkava.
It was said that the suspension was of torsion bar type and he had no previous experience with such systems, yet managed to develop it in a record time of 7 months after being allocated 20 months.
The Merkavas had spring suspension.

Development was likely much closer to the Mark 4 in timeline than the Mark 3.]]></description>
