Haha i remember the very first days when i got this TD. I was cruising around smaller tiers and when shooting, a few of them were : holy sht!

Obviously because they havent such a brutal gun at that tier before. This beast of a gun can 2shot quite a few T7 tanks.

I still have it. It’s a great TD if played well on maps with alot of bumpy terrain. And the bitchslap satisfaction with such a gun is totally worth playing it.

Don’t call him “Sturer” please!

If you want to shorten his name, call him “Emil” which is the german version of the french first name Émile.

The adjective “stur” means “stubborn” (and “sturer” is a male declension).

By the way: “Dicker Max” translates to “Fat Max(imilian)”.

As far as I know only the 4 roadwheel variant of the Rheinmetall Waffenträger with 8,8cm PaK 43 L/71 entered prototype stage and the prototypes even fought. The 5 and 6 roadwheel ones were apparently only projects but at least they are not WG fantasy.
Oberleutnant Ardelt, whose idea these Waffenträger was, died fighting at Eberswalde in a Waffenträger (Spielberger, Panzer 35(t) / 38(t)).

Most of the these Tanks fought.
Pzjg. I fought in France and Afrika
The Marder II was used against the russian T-34s
The Marder 38T is (allmost :) ) a Marder III Variant
The Pz. SFL IVc was a Flakpanzer which was used in small numbers
The Nashorn was a tankdestroyer used late in the war
The Sturer Emil (See Video :D)
I dont know if the Rheinmetall-Borsig as in-game existet, but there where very similar designs
The Waffenträger auf Pz IV was considered but scrapted in 1944, because they wanted to use even lighter Chassis. SS wrothe about him:

The Waffenträger auf E-100 is 100% historical accurate. Not. It’s a fake made by WG.

So, of the 9 Tanks in the Line, 6 fought (as prototype or mass-produced), 1 was a blueprint, 1 is a Fake and 1 i dont know about.
