by this time, noone probably expects any weekend event without some sort of screwup. Check this out. So, you are ready to grind your IS-6 this weekend? Thought about using the double XP bonus to help you out? Think again :) The IS-6 mission conditions state that not only base XP, but also the bonuses are used for calculating the amount of XP needed to finish the mission.
Yesterday, the weekend event was announced – an event that was supposed to bring double XP. This is how they announced it (from google cache):

As you can see, the mission bonus is clearly not applied. Later this morning, the article itself was backedited. Something’s missing…
Yea, that’s right, they deleted the IS-6 mention instead of fixing the bug. Classic Wargaming EU in action (when this post appeared on FTR, it was 6 hours into the event and no word in the official thread, just the forum backedit, awesome job).
Edit: Polish CO confirmed that this is intentional: XP mission bonuses will not count towards the IS-6 goal
Well, anyone doing this sad joke of a mission is deserves the treatment…
I’m doing this event on NA, I hope something like this doesn’t screw up.
SEA Server or SG has the same problem
They wanted to sum up this year on all servers equally.
And I shall say – it’s the most accurate and brilliant sum up I can think of.. =D
FFS…. and yes, I am doing the mission, already 200k in, so I will finish without the XP, but FFS, first they take away our 10k gold fron WoWp, and now this.
If this game wasn’t so good, I would fucking walk away with the way they treat their customers. WG has the worst cust service in existence.

They were having event where if you did a shit ton of battles in WoWp beta you got 10k gold. Everyone in EU/RU on forums screamed it wasn’t fair after the event had already started and people had played a ton of games, and they pulled it from NA.

Yeah, was quite disappointed too… already ~180K into the mission, I have a day off and I’m playing since 9 CEST this morning… so fail…
Raised a support ticket, but don’t expect much…

I am not doing this mission. I prefer working to earn 50 euro’s allowing me to buy one of these. Just too much effort needed.

That is just ridiculous. I looked forward in grinding the chinese and french this weekend. That is the first time i am really upset about WG. Any information about US/RU server? Do they get the XP bonus?

Btw, the x2 doesn’t count for the first daily win. That’s why you didn’t see it on the result tab (it stated so in the action rules, even yesterday – remember talking about it with my GF).
But the mission stuff is way more serious – not a way to go, IMO. That’s just a false advertising now.
Meaning you don’t get x2 and x2 = x4 (not even the +100% +100% = x3). You just get x2 for every battle won or lost, regardless if it’s the first one or not.

The experience points added to your mission’s XP gauge WILL INCLUDE the first victory of the day and additional experience provided by premium account status will be counted towards the goal of 100,000 XP as long as this mission’s conditions are met!
So looks like they fucked us again

On the NA server the X2 Xp event does not work at all….
yes it does, I got 2x XP on tank, but only reg XP+prem on mission, motherfuckers

Not fixed in NA, still only getting prem bonus.
As far as I can tell it only works after you get the fbotd bonus…they do not stack them
just had a game of 1820 xp with weekend special double and it all counted towards the IS-6 mission

Not here, got 2k with the double for wins, only 1k added.
Even less reason to fanny around in tier 6.

Daily still counts. The bonus 2x for anything other than the daily does not.

SK server has the same problem as well…just noticed after playing dozens of game grinding for IS-6 event…
