Day of the Micromaus

Hello everyone,

it’s good day to have a Micromaus (Panzer H38) or its regular “brother”, the H35. Why? Well…

The answer is of course the new reward tank, the Light Tank VIc. There are swarms of it around (and there will be for days) and it literally cannot touch neither the 38H, nor the 35H. It literally cannot do anything to it. If you remember the T7 Combat Car versus the T18 or 38H/35H, this is even worse. Now the sealclubbing can truly begin! But before you set off to pad your stats, a few useful tips:

- carry around at least 20 rounds of gold ammo, you won’t be the only statpadder out there and you don’t want to get wasted by another gold-spamming Micromaus, do you?
- you can completely ignore the VIC light tanks and destroy the dangerous enemy tanks first, especially the T18 is dangerous, Chi-Nu can occasionally hurt too (rarely)
- do NOT use the Micromaus in platoon: it has very high MM weight and two Micromaus tank in platoon almost ensure you won’t be getting many VIc teams (where you can sealclub at your leisure), Micromaus platoon will instead drop into tier 3 battles

Personally, I think THIS is the real Christmas present. A lots of helpless paper targets to shoot at :)

  1. PzII is my preferred choice, good frontal armor that is impenetrable for those light tank VIc’s, good enough mobility so they cant flank it, and an good autocannon that only needs 3.65 seconds to reload.

  2. Or just take PzII – that is faster/more agile and a tough nut to crack for them too :)

    Today I got penned by the VIc just once to the side from a hailstorm of bullets for a measly 6 hit points :)

      But, really, being god of 3 tier sometimes has bad sides.

    • because stat padding in tier 2 battles is about as lame as it gets and really just proves how irrelevant these stats really are.

  4. Have one since the Beta and tried it when the T7 where around. Actually the gameplay is like it was in the Beta when you got into a tier 1 game. Noone can pen you and you can just lay waste to the whole red team yourself.

  7. The problem is when the last MK VI C realize they can’t pen you they run and if you try to cap they can come around you and cap first since they’re much faster than you so you can only smuggle a draw.

  8. It’s only day of the Micromaus if no one on your team is stupid enough not to play the T18. There are far more people playing the Japanese tanks at tier three than the new reward tanks today so out of a good dozen games all but one I’ve been sucked into games where I have to spend the whole game hiding from the legions of Chi-’85mm of pen at tier 3′-Has.

    The one game I did get into tier two was mines and I had two skrub-tier T18′s who went to the hill. their whole team also rushed the hill and the T18′s amassed 11 kills between them before I could even fire a shot.

    Today is the days of the T18. Like it is every day. It’s got as much effective armour as the micromaus, if not more and is brokenly fast for how much armour it has so it can just rush around killing everyone with wild abandon while the more traditional armoured tanks in the game get completely left behind.

    The two T18′s in the header picture must have been truly terrible to let the hotchkiss shine.

    • T18…yes, yes, YES!

      Mine….3 skill crew (BiA, 6th sense, and great camo skill, clutch braking, off road, repairs), add in cola, and it trolls tier 2 like a bad bitch. I’ve had noobs claim I was running a hack just because I could out shoot a seemingly equal T18.

  9. encouraging sealclubbing is wrong and you shoud know it

    imagine you start a new game…and in 2-3 games you find someone who kills all teams alone…what would you think about that game? i’m looking forward to your response

    • how terrible…all of us were begginers once and i’m pretty sure there was sealclubbers back then, but we didn’t even knew what sealclubbing means.

      • And this is mainly about the new t2 prem tank we got for Christmas. No one forces you to play it. Play something else. It’s really easy to get past low tiers anyway. 10 battles and you can be at t3-4 already.

    The same happened on the release of the T7 Combat car. Had a battle facing 1 T 18, and 14 T7 clown cars. Killed the T 18, and then it was just plain sailing from there. Took out an additional 9 Clown cars, while taking 533 hits, with 29 of them penning, for a total repair bill of 424 credits :D

  11. heard there is a “secret” achievement for today if you can kill a micromaus while driving your new Light VIC you will receive an IS-6.

  13. In my first game I got like 136 hits in my H35 with about 2k potential damage, survived, killed 5 by rushing trough the middle in Himmelsdorf. Before, I just parked my tank in that street were all tanks like to kill eachother, laughing at the Mks shooting and doing NO damage at all.

    I was just telling the enemy team “You will not stop me” and they actually stopped firing, they were looking at me like “WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO NOW”.

    potential dmg 2584, 8 kills, 1039 dmg and they damaged me for 40 or so (other micromaus from their team).
    This was…AWFUL from my side…i feel ashamed :(

    • I like it for now too! But usual, the Pz II is nicer, a lot of effective frontal armor, the same amount of penetration, and 100dmg per clip instead of 40per shot with only half as much reload :)
      But both are epic tanks, very nice suited for sealclubbing ^^

    And it’s not really sealclubbing per sé, is it? These people playing the mark VI C are probably 85% + regular players just playin the gift tank
