New server-exclusive tanks coming up?

Hello everyone,

this is a small piece of info I came upon when reading one Russian blog (blogwotlirt) – by the way, to its owner: dude, if you’re reading this, why the hell do you put your blog as a “watermark” even on forum screenshots? I mean, for exclusive content (if you have any) I get that, but forums? Noone does that I think.

Anyway, Knopka (WG RU staff – I have no idea what she does, but she’s marked as a “developer”) states the following:

Basically, a Russian player was complaining that some features of Chínese server are China-exclusive. Knopka responds:

“Every server has its own features. For RU-server, there are plans to introduce tanks with unique looks and unique characteristics in the future.”

Hmm, I wonder if we get such a thing for EU server too, or NA…

    • Not quite true. It’s not unique unless every other server gets something too, but last I checked, in terms of who tends to get the most attention from the devs, the EU server is second in line only behind RU, which means that you guys will get new stuff far sooner than we will.

      Seriously, I’m so sick of you guys on the EU server whining like you have it the worst of all the servers; NA and SEA has it worse, by far (though SEA at least benefits from WG’s events promoting account migrations to the SEA server every few months, while NA gets pretty much nothing…well, unless you count that unlike EU, they actually proofread stuff that goes up on our portal…most of the time).

      We are the red headed stepchild of WOT and ontop of that im on West server which is a stepchild of the red headed stepchild.

      West NA= Windowlicking Stepchild who no one admits was a product of incest, and seeing how bad the players are here and the packetloss it all fits

    • They already do make exclusive tanks for RU; there’s still quite a few premiums that can only be purchased there, and that’s not counting the old boxed sets, of which only a small amount were made and could only be purchased in Russia, Belarus or Ukraine (and included such monsters as the Panzer II J, which is the ultimate deterrent to seal-clubbing T18s).

  8. China has type59G tier8 prem
    RU will get some tier9 prem, because they are better…
    SEA is also nice, they will get some tier7 or 8 prem.
    NA deserves tier7 prem.
    …and what comes to EU, maybe well get another prem tier3 tank, which is quite close to AMX40.

    • Tier 8 Type 59G and WZ-111/112 with 300mm pen HEAT shells till this day.
      At first I thought things would change but no, so I bought a WZ-111 myself.
      It seems I can’t lose credits when firing premium shells only (those shells cost 9 gold each on CN server), and with premium account I earn as much with it as with other tier 8 prems, but this one has 300mm pen, what else can be better?

    • I think you have that mixed up. If any server’s going to get the short end of the stick it’s NA. EU is second only to the RU server in terms of how important they are to the devs. You’d think SEA would have it worse, but WG keeps shoving “Migrate to SEA” events in our faces every few months, so they at least care about SEA. Guess which server always gets left out? NA.

    • China has buying any tank you want, if you spend real money. This includes clan wars reward tanks.

    Peaople are crying, that they MIGHT not get a tank to pay for, with real cash. This is hilarious, and kudos to WG for making you guys such milk cows :)

    FTR I’m sure EU and NA gets some unique tanks, WG is smart when it comes to money. But it will cost you a lot – which is fine, as obviously you guys will pay.

  17. RU Players complaiing about Chinese exclusives when they have the most exclusives of any server…what a bunch of greedy little bastards! They have no right to complain so long as EU, NA and SEA aren’t getting exclusives of their own!
