I found these renders in the Russian Wotleaks VK community, posted by Vitalik Dzizovsky (no idea where they come from originally, sorry). They are player-made and do not necesserily reflect the way the vehicle will look in game, but it might give you a rough impression as what to expect. It’s pointless to discuss any historical statistics, as it is 99,9 percent sure the vehicle will be unhistorically buffed to be able to handle the LT tier 8 role.

from the drawings I saw this is a poor reflection. Itll be interesting to see if this leak is correct down the road…

What gun is that? For me, it seems like a 76mm gun… (as T-34)
Disregard that. The turret will be probably different than this is.
Thanks god… a 76mm gun on a tier VIII tank is very bad, even for a light tank.

btw lights are not so stronk in tier8-10, mediums have same speed, view range, better armor and gun.. :/

Well, since the hull drawings is the only thing we know for sure about this tank it’s ok.
The front hull doesnt look like at 60 degrees like the T-44!

I am willing to deal with those kind of tanks, but the current Arty system needs to go for good.
No! Arty is cool. I ragequit M12 which I’m gonna restart today as it’s on sale.
Also I am willing to bet money you never tried playing (high tier) arty. You’re one of those who got oneshot once and can’t stop whining about how OP arty is, yet you don’t try and see for yourself how much of a lucky shot that was.
I’m thinking the non-existence turret design might be similar to a hemispherical (like T-62A/Object 140 turrets) depending on when this LTTB was designed compared to when the hemispherical turret was designed.
It is a contemporary design to the T-44 (late 1943-early 1944), so the turret is probably going to be similar (especially since they use the same gun).
Nope. The turret supposed to be wielded of rolled steel. So it has to be angular and all hemispherical are made of cast steel

In this aspect, WarThunder is more historical. WG is forced sometimes to make unhistorical garbage because to fill in their little beloved tech tree so it looks all nice and dandy, because having a hole there is the worst thing. Right?
Yes, because War Thunder’s Panther II and Tiger with 10,5 cm gun is SO historical.
There is actually a panther 2 hull on display in the United States, although the turret is a panther 1 turret.

There goes the “Russian line is all historical” thing.
They should use the light version of the T-54 for the end of the LT tree, and make this into a t6 or 7 premium. I can’t see a way for it to be plausibly playable at tier 8.
