Weekly FTR Contributor Review

Hello everyone,

once again it’s the time to thank the contributors, it’s you who keep FTR running after all! This time, following people donated via Paypal:

Mark P. (United Kingdom)
Andrew N. (Australia)
Alexey O. (Russia)
Cortis (Germany)

Thank you, guys. I really appreciate it.

For those, who asked me how am I doing – it’s better. I think you can still “feel” a bit that FTR is on “limited mode”, but I am doing my best to keep up with stuff. The only thing that was sort of left out are historical tank articles (or at least they are rarer now, but I managed to write some stuff on weekend). Thanks for all the support – I mean it :)

The best way to help me and FTR is via the Patreon service

This is the Patreon account of For the Record. In case you read this for the first time and feel like contributing, here is an explanation what it is, how it works and how to contribute. You can find a list of all those, who pledged and help to keep FTR running here.

Thank you all!

    • Have you ever tasted? It’s very tender and has a unique taste – a mix of meat with a hint of sea and salt. Put it on the BBQ for just a few minutes, serve with fried onions. Delicious!!!

    • Stupid questions……that guy could be the new Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn

You know, the one who wrote about the millions of political prisoners who were sent to the Gulags to die in the mines/freezing winter and starvation by a continuation of Russian leaders and the KGB (you know, the secret Police organization that Putin help run)

        • So ? Please tell, how does that change the FACTS ?

millions of political prisoners who were sent to the Gulags to die in the mines/freezing winter and starvation by a continuation of Russian leaders and the KGB (you know, the secret Police organization that Putin help run)

And did you read that which you quote ?
          ——————————————————————————
However, the writer’s praise for Putin wasn’t unqualified. Solzhenitsyn acknowledged that “many problems remained”, including the widening gap between Russia’s rich and poor. He also said Putin’s decision to scrap Russia’s system of elected governors – they are now all appointed – was a mistake.
          ————————————————————————
And don’t we see that has come TRUE. Putin has his cronies in place (Or is trying to in Ukraine) now and is turning into a Stalin/Hitler crossbreed. Pls don’t quote Solzhenitsyn you blindfolded fool.

          • There is NOTHING Wrong with being proud of your country and its capabilities, nothing wrong with being proud of your history and heroes. BUT, if you close your eyes to the truth you will not see the future.

            • Russia is not my country. When you come with biased views i get strong urge to present you with counter information. It is a problem of your intellect that you are not able to understand difference between being a rusophile and having an allergic reaction on WMSM. Once when you learn to look from both sides you will understand. Until then farewell and enjoy your ignorance (they say its a bliss).

          • First of all you are the one who made serious reply after my ironic comment. Second your comments are not true and created to demonize Putin and whole intelligence system of current Russia without knowing the facts except from your “broad” knowledge base on information from western mainstream media. I highly suggest you read the book called The Shock Doctrine: The Rise of Disaster Capitalism written by Naomi Klein to understand what Putin did for Russia.
You will then also understand that this huge gap between rich and poor was created by direct influence of USA neoliberals after fall of SSSR (read the abovementioned book), they were pushing these reforms and basically green lighted and supported oligarchs (because they were destroying Russian economy). Actually after Putin came to power a lot has been changed. Pension were raised, a lot of oil money flowing to a “international” oil companies was finally kept in Russia. Standard improved a lot after disaster economic policies done by idiot/alcoholic Yeltsin (which was highly praised in west because he was ruining the Russian economy). But in the end The problem of widening gap between rich and poor is not only the problem of Russia but also of the whole world (especially west).
So before you call me a blindfolded fool i would suggest you go and read for ten years, learn about the players in the world stop reading only WMSM (western mainstream media) and come back when you open your eyes.

                • “Russia is not my country”
                  ………………………….
I never said it was….so who assumes ?
                  ——————————
More blindfold copy/pate text, read it, same old craaaap….Russia/Putin is Stronk/West is evil.
Russian peasants have been sold that garbage for 100′s of years now by various nasty evil Soviet/NS dictators
