Lešany photos – higher quality

Author: thodt (EU)

Player Thodt was kind enough to send me better quality photos of the Lešany event. Warning, this post is very picture heavy.

  1. So, you’re not the one with the red cap.
That means you’re the one with the checkered shorts on the left?

  2. Awesome! I’d love more posts like this, but the thing that gets me the most is how dirty and full of mud the suspension of the LT-35 is XD the rest of the tank is spotless, but the suspension and tracks seem to have picked up half the ground :P

    • Yeah, that`s what I thought too. Seems Tod Stück dort linke a magnet…

And I complained ab out washing the SPz Ulan… Lol.

      • Ah the Ulan wasnt that bad, try to get out dirt from under the track guards of a Leo2 after two days, it gets hard as concrete. We had to actually hammer it off with sledgehammers and crowbars ..

    • Yeah, you can see the mud buildup get progressively worse in the pictures. I guess it doesn’t affect the tank much?

  3. At first I was like:
” Oh look at dem tiny teknz”
    And then I was like:
    ” That’s what she said”

  4. LT-35, always my favourite little tank.

    off-topic:
SS, regarding the VK3001H > VK3002M switch, do you happen to know whether you get a free garage slot even if you have empty ones?

  5. Does LT-35 painted with original colors camo? Green looks to bright for me somehow. Anyway, great fotos SS ;)

  7. Great looking little tank.
Bit disappointed that they couldn’t have fitted a repro and fake MG to fill the MG cradles to make it appear a bit more ‘in service’.
The image of the engine bay door open shows both what looks like rivets and also some slot headed bolts. – Any idea why they mixed the two types of fastener during/post construction?

    • I’m no expert but wouldn’t rivets be more time (and cash) consuming? The tank isn’t remade for combat, so whatever gets it back and running works, even if its a touch anachronistic.
