Hello everyone,
as you probably heard (if you haven’t tried directly yourself), the color of Japanese tanks was changed to green. Dark green, specifically. Apart from being less historically important than the brownish one (“artillery brown”), which was the basic primer of all the Japanese vehicle (Daigensui on green: “This is the Southern Army alternative color, willow green, used to replace the olive green for the Northern Army camouflage. Due to its coloring over most of the parched grass primer base, it is considered the base color for IJA tanks in the Pacific”), it’s also WAY too dark. Look, this is how top 3 tanks look now:

No, I think this was a really bad idea and it needs to be reverted. I liked the brown more.
Well personally, I have no issue with uniquely different tanks being the same colour as other nations. It’s not like you can mistake a T32 for an IS3 but you might struggle to distinguish an 110 from an IS6.

to be frank, I like it! Flag of Japan looks really good, and we don’t have dark tanks in first place.
It look too much like the Chinese tank imo
and yes the tank look too dark
either brighten up (which will look even more like Chinese)
or revert back to the original brownish color
On second thought revert back is probably best choice
The Reddish Brown gave them an identity. In my book, paintjob is an important factor in making nations unique. I’d enjoy the British and the the French a lot less if they didn’t have their Azure and Sand colours.

I think they simply have to lighten the green a bit. If they do that I think it still looks way better then the brown colour they originally had planned.
I like it as well…. I though its going to look worse but its not so bad.

I bet WG already realised they sell more French camo so figured make these as ugly as possible too.
and why not camo for credits? its cheap and you can change it on different every week ?

The russian players wanted it. So I find it unlikely it will be changed back to brown. Might become a bit lighter, but won’t go back. Sad truth

No other news than the color of jap. tanks? I mean who cares about brown, green and “dark green”? The bag of rice in china is probably more interesting than this nonsense.
I personally like it better and to be honest i don’t spend that much time looking at my tank during battles, now, don’t get me wrong, i do like to stare at them from time to time, or the first couple of battles, but after 20-40 battles in it, i rarely look at anymore.

I liked the brown better too, typical Russian whine ruining things.

This color is hideous but at least it’s not clone green as Chinese tanks, but I really wish they they hadn’t changed from brown to this green, brown looked a helluva lot better.

The green color is a legitimate historic color. Sure, the brown color was more unique and I liked it more – but stop spewing nonsense.
