Hello everyone,
apparently, the Russians have a lot of snow problems this year. It went so far that on the road M23 between Rostov and Tarangor, they use a WW2 German Panzer III to pull out vehicles from snow.
According to the post, the situation with the snow is so bad that the employees of Don Military History Museum decided to help the authorities with the issue and to help pull cars stuck deep in snow out with the captured German Panzer III. They even managed to pull out a heavy Gazprom truck. Before that, it was a truck with a trailer and the director of the Museum, Ivan Strelyaev, said they would go and pull out a stuck snow plough next. The Panzer III is used only for the worst cases.
Pz. III continues its fight in Russia.
This time – against mother Nature.
Stronk german tenk – 1:0 – nature
If that would be during the war.
You mean “once again – against mother Nature”
im telling every time russians need to use booty until today.
that thair problem … they disassembled every machin they could carry in germany and where the last train went to russia they disassembled the rails behind it. but – thats the best things they have today and we just built newer an better machines :)
wow…. tank power.
Over 70 years since it left factory and still pulling those cars like a boss.
It reminds me of why I love tanks.
if you look at the suspension you will see that this is most likely a replica and not a actual panzer 3
Or it was in such bad condition they had to make it a new suspension. I’ve seen plenty of pictures where just rusted out hulls and turrets remained of tanks. So the heart could be a real Pz.III, just the tracks are new because you can’t really get new original parts.

does not match any pz3 suspension
I wouldn’t be so sure about that.
Looks like an Ausf.E suspension or later to me.
Though point taken, it could just be a damned good replica with a few minor inconsistencies.
Its a BMP-2 Suspension and BMP-2 Sprocket http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/b/b9/IranianBMP2.jpg
Nope, not even close, pz3 didn’t have that angling on hull sides near the bottom and no variant had a double teeth track links(if you notice spare road wheel on the fender, they’re designed for single tooth track). Same goes for both the drive sprocket and idler wheel. It’s just a replica, though a very detailed one. i gotta give it to Russians, they do know their stuff, just look up this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sNxp1LtrPLU epicness
Okay guys, you are right, its a replica but I still love tanks :3
There is a company that makes ridicolously good replicas on an APC chasis (it only has 5 roadwheels tho) and sells them quite cheap!

German quality!
Ja ja. BMP sehr gut.
I bet that put the shits up some of the old guard….
Shitski.. The krauts are invading again!
I think it is not a real Pz.Kpfw. III but a nicely done replica. Look at the sprocket … its much smaller than Pz. III sprocket and has different shape as well. Another detail: PzIIIs upper tracks are horizontal, this vehicles upper tracks descending from front to the rear. Just look at this real Pz.III in Saumur: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/9/94/PzKpfwIIIH.Saumur.000a1y8q.jpeg
It is based on BMP-1.
I think it’s great, ya know. Seeing old tanks which can work nicely today.
Dat Mercedes!
Level Russia :D
Gotta use what you have.
Massive fake PzIII but lets list what is wrong with it;
Tracks
Road Wheels
Drive and Idler Wheels
Return rollers
Suspension
Lower hull sides
Rear Hull
Hull front
Turret
Gun
Gun Mantle
Commanders cupola
The whole thing is just wrong..
amazing what things offend you.
I bet if you were stuck in snow, you’d look at it once, sneer and say “I’ll not have my car towed by a fake Panzer”.
Then you’d freeze to death out of spite.
Another thing is wrong:
this one is WORKING.
PzIII does not work.
The german fanboys that are swarming blogs and forums be like: “OMGZ THAT IS NOT PZ3 IT IS ALTERED BY RUSSIONS TO BE INFERIOR WHEN IRL IT WAS THE MOST STROKEST TANK OF THE WORLD NAZI GERMANI MADE BEST TANKS IN THE WORLD THEY JUST LOST CUZ ALIENS DIDNT LIKE HITLER’S MUSTACHE SO THEY KILLED HIM”
You should not smoke that s**t, it is bad for your brain
Butthurt N°1
Stronk German Stalh beets Mutter Natur.
Still more useful than ingame Pz3.
Pz3 isnt that bad, prem shells solves its lackluster penetration problem, the rest of its characteristics are decent-good, which is more than I can say about the rest of the german T4 failwagons (D.W.2, Vk2001D)
yeah, because you should be bleeding credits in a tier 4 tank to do mediocre damage per hit…
Better learn to flank.
Yep, “German quality”.
How many of you noticed that this thing is replica, built on BMP-1 chassis?
Really? I thought it was a real Pz.III
Ai-ai-ai, seems that the LJ user is a plagiarist :) I have seen this exact post before, and it clearly stated that the tank was a BMP-1.
