   • really. There’s a thousand pictures of these ships of much higher quality.

2. now THAT is something im looking forward to!

   • Personally I’ll be waiting till I get my hands on the game before looking forward to anything.
     Seeing as WG now has a 50% hit/miss chance for their games (not counting RU only products) with
     WoT being a hit and WoWP being a miss there is hope for WoWS and more than enough reason to be skeptical.

     • Fortunately they seem to have learnt their lesson from WoWP.

       But only time will tell.

3. How will carriers fight?

   • Similar to SPGs in WoT (sending out airplanes).

     • Actually…it’ll be almost like RTS, you’ll be ordering planes around.

       Battleships will be played like arty :-)

5. Tatsuro cruiser looks like the Tenryu to me

   • Well, Tatsuta and Tenryu are in the same class.
     Tenryu is the name ship of the class.
     When they were modelling it they saved it as Tatsuta.
     They haven’t changed it since.
     They did the same with Zuikaku as well.

6. Yamato doesn’t have nearly enough AA guns.

   Also, I think that "something" destroyer is possibly Akatsuki… I might be wrong.

   • Not Akatsuki, no third turret.

     But I just had to confirm on wiki.

8. This Fuso and this Yamato are surely beautiful.

   • Personally i’d prefer that Amagi-class.

     Although the Yamato does look damn good too.

9. Pretty sure the “Tatsuro” is a Tenryu-class Cruiser….
   the “something” one seems to be either a Shiratsuyu-class destroyer :)

   • Not that Tatsuta and Tenryu are in the same class or anything.

     They just named it Tatsuta when they modelled it, rather than Tenryu as they ideally should’ve done

10. Just look at the pagoda masts on those battleships. It’s like putting a giant sign board saying : “SHOOT ME HERE”. Funny top heavy boats.

    • No big deal since it’s pretty much just platforms around the foremasts.

    • Bridge on Yamato has 500mm of armor

      • Pretty sure he wasn’t talking about the fairly clean citadel of the Yamato but the likes of that weird Christmas tree growing on the Fuso…

11. Gotta admit that they put ALOT of work in rendering these game models. Great sense for small details all over the ships… Woah!

    • 3 months per ship, hence why it might take a while to get the game up.

      But rest assured, it will mean that when it does come out, its gonna be amazing.

13. Wow I can name almost all the planes on the Japanese carriers in those leaked pictures, I just forgot the name of the biplane bomber on the light carrier.

    I think thats a Hatsuharu Class Destroyer not a Shiratsuyu

    Shiratsuyu -> hatsuharu class destroyer
    Tenryu -> Tatsuta
    Kaga -> Zuikaku (also Shokaku, but dev call it Zuikaku)

    • Tone class will be in game.
      Tier is not yet known, however

20. If America is getting protected cruisers, I wonder if Japan will get the Chikumas?

    • WG have said that Japan will get the Chikuma class protected cruisers
