Hello everyone,

an interesting piece of news from Russia. On 12.4.2014, an event will take place at the world-famous Kubinka tank museum, celebrating the release of Patch 9.0 (that gives us an idea for when the patch is planned, doesn’t it). For the event visitors, there will be contests, competitions and gifts, discussion with developers and of course, there will be the possibility to check out the tank exposition itself. World of Tanks: Rush card game will be sold there as well and so will the plastic kits of a company called “Zvezda”.

The event is closed and there are only 1500 spots for the participants, who have to apply at World of Tanks site – first 1500 will get in.

Cool!

  1. 12.4. – 3 Year Anniversary of Release date on EU/NA server … celebrated in russian museum

    • My very own experience says that crew of Kubinka museum really HATES World of Tanks players. Especially “dezhurna” old mothers, guarding the halls.

  2. The museum is awesome ive been there twice
btw if you think Russians now have too much tanks Kubinka have 2x more
    (hope they implement everything)

  3. Ooohh Zvezvada Model kits :( They make great 1:35 scale models. I particularly like their KV-2

  4. “Zvezda” company? Zvezda= star :)) sounds like Sekai Seifuku – Bouryaku no Zvezda aka ~worlds conquest star

    • Actually, Zvezda is a very famous russian plastic model company, like the american Revell and italian Italeri. They makre really great and rare models too.

        • You were not – you just mumbled something. Sukai sufukai burokai – wtf? World conquest start – da hell are you smoking :D

      • Err, Revel is a german company, believe me i know, my whole 1:72 tank collection is that brand :P. And on a side note italeri kits ain’t that hot(at least their lower and medium price kits).

Also, screw you wordpress, if you’re too slow it’s not my fault…

        • Sorry, but revell is NOT a german company. It’s originally from USA, BUT…it has a european branch of it with it’s own production which is based in germany…You have revell – Monogram USA, Revell germany and even revell Asia. Check your facts next time please ;)

          • Hmm, you’re right. Well, it’s been a while since i bought one(have other things that eat cash now..) And all had “made in Germany”, i didn’t feel the need to research the company past that :P

      • They have some rare Soviet models, but in terms of built comforn and quality they are at best below average. Many of the molds are 20+ years old.

      • Do they have the Object 770 model kit? If not, then they’re not that good.

    • Why do you think they used it in anime with vaguely russian uniform and “codenames” such as “odin” and “dva”…

  5. Maybe they have cleaned the trash out of some of the tanks gun barrels by now.

    Very disgusting and disrespectful.
