Hello everyone,
today is the 1st anniversary of the new For the Record, hosted on the wot-news portal. Much has changed ever since last year, both in the game and on For the Record blog, but one thing remains the same – I am still having fun doing it (as exhausting as it is sometimes) and I am still trying to mine the internetz for the best content about WoT out there.
At this point I would like to thank Edrard, without whose intervention and help over the past year, For the Record would certainly not be here. He was able to get along with me (a feat by itself), running this site, fixing its bugs – a tremendous help. Thank you.
Secondly, I want to thank all the contributors, who helped me finance FTR over the past months and months, both via Patreon and via the Paypal donations. You guys are the best.
And last but not least, I would like to thank everyone else, all of you readers, for your continued support and – earlier – for putting up with ads, that’s what kept me going and keeps me going. Now, enjoy your Saturday (I hope you have as nice weather as it is in here), there will be a competition in the evening (well, at least evening of EU time), so you better refresh your game and tank knowledge :)
PS: Those, who were banished and forgotten, might just return yet…

What the thing with donkey?
There was a time when any anonymous user could put in temporary names, and there sprouted beings flying the name of Donkey who have spread the chaos of beastly donkey rape.
People were in panic, individuals were voicing their concerns and fears of the Donkey and its rape.
At first it was embraced by the populous, it became a festive and daily occasion, even an event was created to honor Donkey, however the Donkey has run amok and people’s backsides have become sore, so much so that the guardians of this blog have banished the villainous Donkey, and anyone who would dare speak of it and its dark ways.

I have addblocker installed and i dissabled it on this domain but still cant see any adds… a bug ?
But when i watch youtube videos that are posted on the FTR they show up inside (of it)
There are no ads on FTR, not for ages. The ads inside videos linked here, that’s not something I can do anything about and I don’t get a single cent from them. That’s youtube stuff.
I’d like to point out a minor bug however. the adblock message still appears when its in use.
“You have enabled the Adblock addon. I’d like to ask you, if you like this webpage, to disable it for this site, because the advertisement is the only way for us to gain anything.”
Its not a bother though.
Yes, that’s a known issue, will ask Edrard to fix it.
You can go ahead and remove FTR from exceptions now that it has no ads, it’ll remove the youtube ads problem.
