According to the Polish portal that published the photos, no details of the incident are known. But ouch, I wonder how they managed to do this… my guess is that the vehicle somehow fell off a trailer or something…

    • Once I had a very short chat with Challenger on his FB page, he said that tanks usually don’t get damaged much by such accidents even if they fall upside-down.

    • Rubber Bubble Wrap Packaging Device Manufacturer’s Manual of Rubber Bubble Wrap Packaging Devices on said:

“Dimitri put away the vodka. A tank fell off trailer!”
“Нет Boris, one tank less not matter for stronk Russian army. Leave it there for people as complimentary gift.”

  1. well russian tanks are known of jumping :) this one try that on flat surface

  2. The trailer tried to drift then the tank fell off. Well, tanks won’t get damage than a car.

  3. You can tell by the position of the guy in the second photo, that this is from the Russian national tank tossing contest!
I think we may have a winner here!

  4. S19 Msta ” following types of ammunition, among others: HE (24.7 km), HEAT-FS, HE-BB (28.9 km), HERA (36 km)”
It’s the replacement for the FV 215b, it fires a HEAT round!
and we thought the BL10 on the ISU 152 looked long

  5. Yes vehicle fell off from a trailer when transporting it to Ukrain border.

    • It would have to roll over its roof all the way to land on its other side… which leaves one wondering how fast did that trailer go.

  6. Have you seen how they drive in Russia? Lucky it’s not laying on a busload of small children.
