Saumur Dynamic Demonstration

Hello everyone,

once again, a few videos from Rasta_knight from this year’s Saumur dynamic demonstration of vehicles. It’s impressive to see so many historical vehicles in running condition. Go Saumur! :)

  1. You can’t out-surrender the French! Tank reversing away from a single man with both hands already in the air.

I KID! :D loved it TY.

  2. Off-Topic:

Hey SS, when will we see the results of the last question of the FTR-Quiz?

  3. Looks like despite the funding shortage I keep hearing about, Saumur still maintains quite a few vehicles in working order. Too bad they didn’t get the B1-bis out this year. This one is a beast.

I wish they fixed some more exotic models (AMX 50, maybe even the poor Batchat we saw on FTR a while ago), though I suspect this is way harder than fixing WWII tanks.

    • Talked about it with some people of the museums, it looks like the mechanics are talking more and more about the batchat, but they can’t spare money on it, because they have a project they want to work on before : making a functional tiger out of their own tiger, since it’s not too damaged.
But it needs money, and they can’t spend too much money since they don’t have much.

But if some company running a game about tanks were to give money so the batchat can be restored, the mechanics would do it. BC25t took a bad blow staying outside in their graveyard, but my contact in said it is complete and can still revive….. wargaming can you hear us…..?

  4. That Jagdpanzer 38t (S10) has two different drive wheels. Referencing Inside The Chieftain’s Hatch on this notification.

That sexy Tiger II and Panther. Also does it seem the Shermans are more maneuverable in RL than in WoT?

    • You believe WoT bears any resemblance to real life?
“Ballancing” only determines which tank is more OP than another.
