Wargaming Anniversary Coming

Hello everyone,

in three days (next weekend event), Wargaming anniversary event is coming. It’s usually a reason for very nice bonuses and free stuff and it seems this year will be no exception. First sneak peek can be gleaned from the upcoming anniversary missions in the “coming soon missions”.

These missions will be active from 1st of August to 1st of September (with two exceptions).

Crew is Crucial

Conditions: Win a random or team battle in tier 4+ vehicle and end in top 5 with XP earned
Reward: 50 percent crew XP

Promotions Incoming!

Conditions: Complete Crew is Crucial mission 60 times
Reward: 75k crew XP

Daily Boost

Conditions: Win a random battle once per day in tier 6+ vehicle and end in top 3 with XP earned
Reward: 3 gold fire extinguishers

Quality Time

Conditions: Complete Daily Boost 15 times
Reward: 3 days of premium account

Effort Counts

Conditions: Be in top 3 in XP earned on your team (regardless whether you win or lose) while driving a tier 6+ vehicle
Reward: 25 percent XP bonus for the battle

Celebrating our Birthday Together

This mission is available only on this weekend!

Conditions: play random battle in platoon, survive the battle and earn at least 500 base XP in a tier 4+ vehicle
Reward: double crew XP for the battle

Happy Birthday Wargaming

This mission is available only on this weekend!

Conditions: be in top 10 of your team in XP in a tier 4+ vehicle (once per day), random and team battles count
Reward: 1 day of premium

Not bad! And yes, a gift tank is apparently coming as well… so if you have a Micromaus, it’s gonna be a good time for you :)

    For a moment i jumped on the possibility that WG will give out Micromaus to those that dont have it – and gold compensation for those who do own one , but it will be business as usual i guess – tier 2 gift.

    • Yea, but since I want that Micromaus pretty bad, it’s gonna be good anyway :D I hope they just don’t throw out a 2er as you said…

      • Nothing, I will finally move my T49 commander forward to the sixth sense :)
        But dont understand the mechanics. I have to play all the battles with T49? This “Crew XP” will be splitted to all the members, or I can move it all to one member if accelerated training turned on?

        • I dont understand it neither, the basic answer is – is the mission for every tank individually or for all together, right carramba?

        • I think it’s pretty straightforward – you can do the missions on any tank you want (that is Tier 4+). Once you get the “Crew is crucial” mission done for the 60th time on, let’s say T49, then the crew for T49 get the reward. If you complete that 60th achievement on a different tank than that other crew will be rewarded.

        • The other question is – is it 75k for each crew member or to be split among them all? I hope for the first possibility ;)

    This means, if I complete the mission every day of the month, I will have 90 days of premium? LOL

    • No, it’s called Daily boost since you can do this mission once per day (aka daily).
      It means that if you do the daily boost mission every day you’ll get 3 day premium after 15 day at earliest.

      • As Nishizumi77 says you can get it after 15 days, so in one month you can get it twice, so 6 days total premium days can be earned

    • K, let’s walk you through this:

      Daily Boost

      Quality Time

      Conditions: Complete Daily Boost 15 times
      Reward: 3 days of premium account

      So, let’s see.. there’s 30 days in August. If Daily Boost can only be completed ONCE PER DAY, and you need to complete it 15 times for 3 days of premium.. then 30/15 = 2 times.. so 2 x 3 = 6 days of premium. Not sure how you got 90..

  12. Now imagine if these were events worth caring about like, say, 30% income bonus on every tier 4+ tank for the entire month

    Oh wait wargaming hasn’t had good events in like 1.5 years now :|

    • I always get nostalgic thinking of wonderful bonuses we got back then, such as 5x-XP weeks(!), 3x-crew-XP and -50% on tier VII tanks (all with a significantly better “normal/good player” to “vegetable” ratio).

      • I think it was… 2? anniversaries ago they realized people would buy the $60 6000 gold/6million credit packs for the first time. And then slowly started increasing the prices on those while selling them like every weekend, mostly replacing the weekend deals they used to have on premium tanks every week. That was the start of the end.

        On top of that they realized “hey giving bonuses to tiers 7+ is fucking dumb cause it means less reason for people to buy premium!” and those got phased out to the point you see something for tier 8 like twice a year now at best really.

        Wargaming’s every decision in relation to these things is “what will get US more money” and sadly that comes at the expense of the player :/

    • No, he said that if you have a micro-maus, there will be plenty of defenceless targets around.

      Micro-Maus = Pz.Kpfw. 38H 735 (f), pretty much an H35 with better agillity and a higher pen 37 mm gun.

    Wait what?? I need explanation on this one cause my brain is interpreting this wrongly…

    • basically, you get your normal crew xp + 50 percent more. So instead of getting 1200 xp for that battle, you got 1800.

    • Unless the Te-Ke has limited MM and can’t meet tier 3. Do we already know that? Hmm…

  17. Silentstalker, you missed one condition for the “Happy Birthday Wargaming” mission: 16000 XP earned.

    • This, confirmed.

      Conditions: Earn 16000 XP while being in top 10 of your team in XP in a tier 4+ vehicle , random and team battles count (mission available 1 per day)
      Reward: 1 day of premium

  20. If it is the Te-Ke and it uses the 37 mm Gun Type 94 it should have access to premium ammunition. Which should at least give me a fighting chance against the seal clubbing nabs in their T18′s.

    • According to TankInspector, Te-Ke’s gun is the 37 mm gun type 98
      ROF: 20 (3 sec reload time)
      ACC: 0,4
      AIM: 2,2 sec
      PEN: 40,4/59,4/18
      DMG: 45/45/60
      max ammo: 102

  21. Why micromaus? Most players, except unicums , prefer statspadding with T18.

    • im guessing because it bounces more reliably from all angles and having a turret is nice when you want to engage multiple targets

    • Man I hope the tank gets tier 3 MM, I need to get 15 kills in my Pz II J!

    • after do Crew is Crucial 60 times, just do a battle with any tank, and its get the 75k crew XP

      • Funny thing would be if the new gift tank would kick Micromauses ass :D Well, I will try it and if it will suck I will play with MM.

        • Apparently it has APCR with 59-60mm pen. Should manage to deal with the armour.

  24. I wonder whether I should download the game again and get a couple of premium days to use in WoWP, the premium missions are really easy to complete.

  25. Is the possible gift tank going to be only available this weekend or will it come at another time?

    • If it comes again it will probably be part of a £45~ package deal only. Like the ones we saw with the T1E6 and Tetrarch last Christmas.

  29. On the NA server, nothing shows under Missions / Coming Soon. Not sure what this means. No missions for us? Does this mean we get 9.2 on Thursday? Any word on 9.2 for the other servers?

  30. My already seal clubbing BT-SV will be very happy. I hope it’s an autocannon like a PZ 1 C or T7. That way even the gold spammed will bounce. trololol

  32. In the last 2 years of playing my micromaus I’m in with tier 3s 99% of the time anyway, most times with me the only tier 2 tank in the whole game.
