  1. Only the best of the best survive. Only those who looked fear in the ones eye has learned what it means to feel courage. Or until the air conditioning in the tank dies out.

    • Belive me, air conditioning in tank is turbocharged :-), it can literarrly pull you out of the tank.

  2. “World Championship”…??

Sounds like the ‘Murricans idea of The World Series Baseball….

..and a decent way to ensure a Russian tank wins…

  3. What ever happened to America, Germany and Italy taking part? I remember they accepted the invitation to this years event, though I’m guessing things in a particular region of Europe threw a spanner in the works.

      • Nah man, they will obviously use the cheap knock-off of the T-72B tank
Its something like “UFSPT-1728B” aka some code that only the manufacturers of the tank can decode, which means something like “Ultra Fast Super Powerful Tank-One Thousand Seven Hundred Twenty Eight Beta”
It has good reputation in china, the tracks break after moving 1 kilometer, the shells that it fires break off the cannon, the front armor can be penetrated with a water gun. Its a tank commonly used as a target in training.

  4. This could be cool if:
    1. It wouldn’t be organized in Russia
    2. Each nation would use their own tanks
    3. There would be more categories: IFV, APC, tanks etc.

    • 2. LOL! Do you even know that every nation competing here (except china, which is using their own tanks) have russian MBT’s, and except India nobody has T-90, so they are basicly using the same tanks that they have in their countryes…actually a bit better, because they will use Non-monkey T72s
      3. What is the point of TANK biathlon when competing with IFVs and APCs?!

  5. From the news article in the Serbian newspaper about the tank units practicing for the biathlon i think they will compete in M84AS tanks which are basicaly a further development of the T72 with the T90s gun, fire control system, reactive armor and a bigger engine.

  6. A Venezuelan team… lol

Oh well, at least some people are having fun with the money we spent buying all that crap from Russia.

  7. SS, you said that 9.4 will be also an interesting patch – could you disclose some more information (if you have it) about it? i understand that biggest change might be HAVOK, but maybe you know what else it is gonna be?

    • Ukraine is focusing on reclaiming Donetsk and Luhansk. No tank biathlon this year.
