Russian Igromir 2014 Expo

Hello everyone,

today is the third day of the Igromir 2014 game expo in Moscow (the expo is open between 2.10. and 5.10.2014). If you haven’t heard of it… basically, what E3 is for the USA and Gamescom is for EU, Igromir is for Russia. And, of course, you guessed right: Wargaming’s there. Here’s one of the “day summary” videos Wargaming is posting on Russian portal. It’s in Russian obviously, so just for you to see how it’s looking (I like the host, isn’t she cute?)

You might ask of course: “why are you posting this?” Well, two reasons really. First reason is that it explains the fact that there’s not much going on with the developers at this moment. They are busy. On the other hand, Anton “Evilly” Pankov (WoT producer) is there and he’s answering some player questions, so we might get some info after all.

Second reason is, there’s actually a live stream. You know, with everything. Dancers, the show itself, whole day and all that. So, my question is: why the FUCK did we not get the same thing on Gamescom and instead, we had to watch a bunch of guys stroking each other’s… ego in a closed studio? Yes, I am still annoyed by the Gamescom “stream”.

Anyway, here’s the stream. Obviously, they are speaking Russian, but if you were to… say… greet them in English in the chat… in large numbers of course, I am sure they would totally appreciate it! :)

Wow you really are annoyed by the gamescon stream lol.

  2. Well, they don’t really appreciate EU as much as they appreciate their own nation. Guess it explains pretty much most of the “why” question.

    • “Well, they don’t really appreciate EU as much as they appreciate their biggest market. Guess it explains pretty much most of the “why” question.”
      Fixed that for you.

      • Revenue in EU isn’t that far off from RU to have this contrast. But yeah it’s a big factor.

On a different note, shouldn’t they be animating the market that they have lower income from instead of fluffing the already established one?

  3. Those chicks on stream, though… If i weren’t sneezning soo badly now, i’d make some sticky keys, non-windows version…

Because EU countries prefer travesty, drag queens and homosexuality. Proof: remember current winner of Eurosong contest? There you are.
