  1. There was also a graphics trap, at the point where the outer track passed underneath the inner track.

Plus it was possible to jump outside the tracks. Not sure where exactly, but I saw one guy driving around inside the righthand most loop.

  2. The thing that bugged me a lot more ist that randomly you’d get stuck in the road when landing after jumping off one of the bridges or the big ramps in the middle part.
Jump, land, go from 90 -> 0 and then have to reaccelerate. Strangely, it happened more often when I was far ahead of the others.

Not that I am implying that it is rigged. I am implying that this is fucking bullshit.

    • Last bridge on this video – same shit. Jump and stop. I really glad that simply ignore this game mode (I was really sorry for killed Chaffy – one of the mostloved tanks after remove T50-2)

    • I think I know what you mean, on the last elevated “pipe-jump/tunnel” before the final bridge, I sometimes came to a complete stop or flip my tank in the opposite direction, and it had a tendency to happen when I was in the lead…
Conspiracy bullshit? Perhaps, but I’ve played close to 150 races, it was a tendency there :P

  3. the was another problem that many players encountered
random freeze of screen loading of chaffe race in tournament :)
the guy from my team never had a freeze of the game ,we played a lot of chaffe race ,then suddenly on tournament his stuck at loading screen ,and we couldn`t win in 2 v 3 from the start ,isn`t that rigged?

  4. Dude. We won the tournament (Jääkärit team). One of our players used it in last 4 matches. Rest of us refused as we didn’t feel it would help at all and I still think it didn’t. Race tournament wasn’t much of a race anyway, it was team deathmatch. Bad driver can’t juke to bounce shots, bad driver can’t drift to keep gun stable in corners and bad driver turns so slowly that it’s hard to hit enemy when ramming. Hardly an exploit, but I understand if someone likes it better.

We also encountered few enemy teams that clearly used bad drivers and I had no trouble staying behind them. (behind is where you want to be)

  5. I used an arty driver (not in the tournament), but still didn’t manage to get as far ahead as shown in the video, my connection just wouldn’t let me :/
Also, not drifting was sometimes countereffective, in smaller turns, the tank would crash in the barrier, as it couldn’t turn fast enought.

Oh yeah, something weird happened to me, one of the opposing chaffes burned me, I managed to put out the fire, neither engine nor driver were damaged/knocked out, but I was much slower, and couldn’t almost turn, if I find the replay I’ll post it here.

  6. I didn’t enjoy it as an event anyway, the racing was almost irrelevant because even if you were ahead you just made it easier to be shot. Getting to the cap first meant nothing too so it was less about racing and more about standard shooting opponents. That plus gold ammo in it just made it no fun.

    • I won about 20 of my 50 races by driving faster and getting hidden in cap so when enemy came they couldn’t shoot me right away. It was very well winnable this way if you focused on the track and the enemy made some mistake.

  7. Tried it (was too late for me to really exploit it). Played it from the standard setup (no special gas or rations or enhanced suspension, no nothing), and won 8 in a row, in 7 of which I was the first one on cap by a country mile. Didn’t even bother (auto)aiming and shooting, I just drove straight to the office for the win.

  8. It was not just the lack of drift with this exploit but also the lack of slowing and destabilising when hitting and running over objects that made it such a cheat. I did not use this myself as drifting and beating other drivers was too much fun and its a total shit move. Drifting also means you could angle when circling the enemy and force bounces.

    • I actually slowed down more with the untrained pilot, because of the lower accelleration I think

  9. at 1:18 you can see one of the points where you can exit the track :P…
The traffic dividers have a invisible section that’s about 3x higher than the graphics itself, you can shoot through it but the tank cant pass over it.

I found the bug by mistake after I retrained my crew for another light tank (before competition was announced) and when I put them back in I spotted that the tank was better. After days it got worse. Sadly my team member didn’t show up on the day so we lost this competition.. It’s difficult in this game to find reliable people to play with ;(..

  10. I enjoyed the racing. There were not that many afk’s and often it was a close call.

The only race I had a problem with was my second to last race. I got stuck in a wagon at the beginning of the circuit (don’t ask how I did that). I’ve told my team once I figured out that I was stuck, but they still reported me.

    • Basically what it does it that it artificially limits your Rate of Turn, it only helps if all you do is press RRR and the direction keys, it effectively makes no difference whether you use a gimped crew if you pressed S to slowdown yourself.

  11. I loved the drift. reminded me of being 17 again (only 30yrs ago) and racing on dirt roads around my home town (guess you can’t really do that stuff any more)
anyway, love the drift in Chaffee race as it took me back :)
