    • Against flat surfaces and because of muzzle velocity, yes. But 120mm has more normalization so it means it’s more useful against sloped armor, which every single tank at tier 9/10 has anyway.
Also, those stats for the L7 are probably not actual anymore.

      • I might be mistaken but I thought that it’s always been the case that guns where APCR is the standard credit ammo do not suffer the normalisation malus that “gold” APCR rounds are subject to.

The 120 gets more overmatch, I suppose.

          • No, they don’t.

The Tier 10 mediums do not suffer any penalties that normal APCR rounds get.

NA Server Wiki: “Tanks whose guns default to APCR are also not subject to the same penetration loss over distance as premium APCR, but still have the higher muzzle velocity.”

According to this, I am going to assume that it also neglects the normalization penalty. I checked other sections of the wiki, and no specific data to be found.

Pretty much (In practice) the T10 APCR shells are AP shells, with higher pen.

            • It only mentions it doesn’t carry the penetration penalty. Your assumption is thusly based on nothing. And since they do keep the higher muzzle velocity bonus, I think the assumption that the unmentioned normalisation remains the same is a more valid one.
