Well it was fairly common for Russian crews to have one of their external tanks full of alcohol. Drunkenness was a problem in the Red Army
This is an advertisment of a new consumable: Tankists vodka!
With this, your crew looses about 20% of their primary skill(can be totally mitigated if you use a food consumable at the same time, which then serves as a snack to the drink), but your tanks gets additional -5 to gun depression, as shown on the chinese tanks.
