      • I remember WG said: “STUG IV will be easy to get for most players”?? I have 19 000 battles and WR 55%, and the STUG missions look very hard (read: almost impossible) for me. I wonder who can play all the classes so well? I am good at 2, maybe 3 classes: LT, MT and sometimes TDs. Oh yea and I hate platooning. Slow clap for WG…again.

        • What exactly looks that tough to you? I have 13k / 53% WR and I think that I can do all of StuG ones fairly easily – maybe some repeated tries on some, but all of them are easy to slightly less easy.

So I am curious which one is tough~

          • Yeah, I have 11k and 53% also and I see myself getting the T28 concept fairly easily. The StuG mission is my definition of “not even trying”, T28 is my average game. Shame, because I kinda want the T-55A, I guess some luck will have to be involved, since the requirements are equal to “that one epic game I had last week”.

          • You do realize that, if someone is not a good arty player (or LT, MT, HT, TD) ; he has to get all the MAIN and all the ADDITIONAL goals (M+A goal in one game) to substitute for the lack of arty token (or any other token).
            But, you wanted an example:
MT Main – Cause damage to an enemy vehicle while on the move. Additional – Destroy an enemy vehicle while on the move.
HT Main – As a Platoon, cause damage to at least 8 enemy vehicles. Additional – The Platoon must join the top 5 players on your team by experience earned.
This is hard for me and you have to wait for a perfect, 1 in a 100, opportunity to finish missions like these. Too hard and tedious for me.

          • For me the problem would be LTs. I could propably do them, but I hate LTs in conjunction with sucking in them.

            • I still don’t get why people don’t understand the point of this.

This isn’t “hey everyone want free tank? Here you go no effort 4 free tanks”.

This is exactly this: “We need to encourage people to play more classes and be more social in our game. Here is how we going to do it. Only 50% of players will get Stug judging by their gameplay… 20% will get the top tank. Go”.

So now we got people who are basically a brainless stains in the game, popping up and saying: “I was promised a tank, but I want to put no effort in. I want to ONLY play TD’s, and by myself, and I want it easy so I can get it in 2 days, maybe week tops, whaaaaaaa, why can’t I have that?”

I am not the greatest player in the game, but looking at this missions I think “I can get a Stug in a week, even though I never platoon, I can get top tank in 5-6 months, maybe. It will be quite an effort and very challenging, but I am going to enjoy every damn moment I am trying to surpass that challenge. It will be nice to be one of the few to get that tank and to prove I am good”.

So, I have no sympathies WHATSOEVER for anyone who thinks they can’t get the tanks. Can’t get it? you didn’t deserve it. It will be all the more pleasurable to rub it in.

And all that bullshit about “I don’t want to play arty, I don’t want to play light tanks, I just want to play what I am already good at?” Well, fuck you too, I play all classes equally well (54%-56% win rate for each), I don’t whine about it. Is LT hard to play and sometimes unrewarding? Yes, and yet I still play it and learn to be better in it. Is arty infuriating to play? So much yes. And yet I still play every arty in the game. Because that’s what makes me a good player and damn right I will continue to be one.

Want to remain tomato and not learn anything? No tanks for you (C) Soup… err.. Tank Nazi.

              • ^this 1000x

StuG I can get that eyes closed in a week lol. T55A is where some classes or missions are gonna be tough.

The 260… well. You’ll have to deserve it that’s for sure. It’s gonna suck for me in LT. I think I might just click and RNG people instead =D

But for real, great initiative by WG. A lot of those missions are there to reward people who actually, finally, try to do something useful and they’re trying to educate the average potato scrub on some game mechanics. FINALLY. I still wish they implemented a proper tutorial but this is great nevertheless. Because let’s be honest : the average WoT’er sucks a sack of balls I’ve never seen that in 18 years of playing video games. The average community level is a-goddamn-ppaling. Props to WG for those missions.

Now scrubs can QQ everytime, I’ll rub them in too lol.

  1. This looks to be VERY difficult…as well as tedious. I doubt on the US server if their projected 20% are going to be able to complete this.

    Redwing6
    Personnel Officer,
    Convictz, NA Server

  2. uhm.. the other post says that those are placeholders anyway? (getting tired of that word btw :D)

  3. “Main – Join the battle in the Platoon with at least 1 SPG.”

I always refused to play with arty on platoon, and my friends too, so, I don’t have any friend arty, how can I skip it to complete the mission?
they said you don’t need arty to complete the mission, but with this mission you actually need arty…

    • If you really want the mission you can find someone in a random battle, or you can post in the forums to find a player willing to help you. In fact if you send me a message then I will platoon my arty with people for the mission

  4. Cause at least 3,000 HP of damage to enemy vehicles from the distance of at least 250 m. Enemy vehicle must be on the move. Additional – Destroy 3 moving enemy vehicles.

    Hmmmmmmm

  5. “All the missions have to be completed in tier 5 or higher vehicle (including light tanks), and you have to be in top 10 XP.

You need to get 20 tokes for a vehicle. For every final mission you get 4 tokens for primary and 1 token for secondary. So if you dont want to play arty, you need to complete the four other branches with secondary objectives. Also, for every final mission you get a female crewmember.

    http://ftr.wot-news.com/2014/12/05/9-5-feedback-individual-missions/

Does this mean that I have to play at least LT, MT, HT and TD in order to get such a reward tank?

    • Yes. And you HAVE TO PLATOON and you HAVE TO COMPLETE *ALL* SECONDARY OBJECTIVES. Rather impossible requirements for most of those vehicles for many players.

      • That’s the point. It is suppose to be impossible for shit players to get this tanks. Literally, the one and only point.

Want those tanks? Stop being shitty player.

    • i ja kazem…

i would rather give 45 EUR to buy any of prem tanks, that are reward, then push myself to the limits in order to get them for free…

      • You are what we call a big fat WHALE in the business. Shitty player who has more money than skill. And that’s ok, don’t be upset, we need WHALES to pay for the game that we otherwise get to play for free.

      • It’s not like fucking hard to get the stug iv or the t28c. the t55a and the object on the other hand… but you aren’t able to buy tier 9 and 10 reward tanks anyway

  6. some stuff on that list is nearly impossible ..
destroy all enemy arty while driving one (3+) like srsly wg does know what reload arty has you won’t ever be able to make that mission unless you drive bert or the french premium arty or the french autoloader arty ..

  7. I really think that the advises are probably the best thing about the individual missions.

  8. There should be chose what we want to drive now we have:
LT, MT, HT, TD, SPG – this are mission at this time

But it should be like that that we choose 4 from 5 types of tanks for example
LT, MT, HT, TD or LT, MT, HT, SPG,

It will be better that like this one now, becouse now its nothing from INDIVIDIAL title.

  9. Personally, I won’t be touching these missions. Way, way too much effort for very little reward.

    • Well, keeping them activated doesn’t hurt and I’m sure from time to time one of them would get completed, even if you don’t think about them at all. Every single mission gives some reward, it can be a nice way to boost your credit stockpile a little.

      • What you don’t realize, is that there is a limited amount of in-game resource. If you get extra credits etc from these missions, the opportunity to earn them will be taken away somewhere else. Eg. less good specials, or lower credit factor on tanks etc.

        • Working as intended.

While the resource is limited, all they are doing is moving the gains from one group or people to the other.

So instead of shitty players mindlessly getting silver, now only good players get silver, while shitty players get shit.

Capitalism at it’s best. Don’t you just love yourself some Capitalism? Mwahahahaha. You wanted it, enjoy it.

OMG this is the most ironic thing I’ve seen here in MONTHS! all those retards yelling Fuck Communism and getting screwed by Capitalism. Oh how sweet the tears are!

  10. Main – Damage or destroy 7 modules, or injure 7 crew members of the enemy vehicle. Additional – Destroy at least 5 enemy vehicles.

Is this combined or they are actually saying kill every crew member of one certain tank with 7 crew members? wtf?

And the platoon missions are total shit. This is ilogical

Main – Join the battle in the Platoon with at least 2 light tanks. Spot enemy vehicles and enable your allies to cause at least 7,000 HP of damage to the vehicles spotted by you. Additional – All members of the Platoon must survive the battle.

What’s the point of platooning with 2other scouts, when you will be the only one spotting and earning the XP? the other 2 will basically steal your chance of even doing 7000dmg by spotting.

  11. Reading them, the whole idea of these missions is retarded and detrimental to the game. Many of these objectives will cause players to do all sorts of stuff which will just make games worse.

Example: “Cause at least 1,500 HP of damage to enemy vehicles. Remain undetected during the battle. Additional – Destroy at least 2 enemy vehicles.” So, some prick trying to complete this mission is just going to hide at the back of the map, game after game, in the hope that they eventually fulfill the criteria.

      • No, it’s not. How many times would a TD player fulfill these criteria if they were not trying to complete these missions? Probably less that 1 game in 100. And that’s just one example – pretty much every one of these missions will detrimentally alter they way people doing them play the game.

        • More like, every game you’re driving the bottom tier TD in your team.. I tend to get around ~1000~1500 damage in the games where I have to stay behind in order to survive/do anything worth while.. which is around once every 3 games..

        • A shitty player whining about unable to be a good player.

Nothing to see here, move along. He is not the target audience for reward tanks.

  12. Some of those are impossible. Like “platoon and hit 14 different vehicles”. Sorry, impossible.

    • Agreed. Most of them seem alright. But the platoon missions are close to impossible.

It’s more like an invitation for stronk klans to rig battles. Screw this shit lol. The tanks rewarded are not even close to OP to be worth the stress or something. Maybe Obj260.

      • Go ahead and reproduce it.

Geez, those “its not impossible” people should really get some common sense.

Just because there’s 5 games like that per year doesn’t make it any less impossible for a typical player, even blue or purple.

        • why would you get upset because you can’t be good enough or can’t be lucky enough to complete that mission ? That’s the original purpose, you must be damn good plus damn lucky to make it. Otherwise almost above green player and up can drive the 260. WG stated that a very small number of players can get it.

Furthermore, that kind of replay doesn’t happen only 5 times a year, it happen everyday on server and you just don’t know.

        • 15 kills with a platoon Will be dificult, but it can be done.
14 tanks damaged.. No problem. I have at least 5 replays from the last patch were we did that.

3 hellcats, or 3 t67 on an open map. No problem. You need only 3 good players, and some luck.

          • Damaging 14 enemy tanks with a 3 tank platoon might not be outright impossible. However, it seems to me that what would happen is that it would change the way that any platoon trying to complete this requirement would play. Instead of playing as they’d normally play, that platoon might just try to do damage to every tank they see in one area of the map than reposition to another location for no other reason than to get a single hit into 14 different enemy tanks, like some insane version of the game of “Tag”.

            • So you are saying that instead of doing same boring thing they used to do all the time, they will be acting like they are on some kind of… ah… mission?

Perish the thought, that platoon is being aggressive rather than camping in the back. What will this game become?! Will somebody please think of the children.

        • Lol what a turd.

“doesn’t make it any less impossible for a typical player, even blue or purple.”

          a) Typical player is a shit stain with 49% win rate and 800 WN8. They are not the target audience for reward tanks, they will find it impossible to do and they will never get it as they don’t deserve it.
          b) Blue and purple players are 5% of the populace. They will have no issues getting those tanks. Why? Because they are not typical players and this missions are meant for them.

          • The only turd here is you. Or a crappy troll. take your pick. Ask super purples at wotlabs about those missions, you’ll see how “easy” it is for them.

            • I really wish we could track the progress of all these people who talk about the missions being “easy” , and see the majority of them failing miserably to even get the 2nd reward tank…

  13. Why would you need to post that wall of text?
    1. Many missions are potential placeholders and may change upon release.
    2. This is no hidden content, no leak – it can be read by anyone who downloads the CT client.

      • Same here.

I’ve never DL’d the CT client. My internet isn’t fast enough for me to want to DL both the CT client and the regular client for every WoT revision. I’m glad that SS posted the mission requirements (not to mention all the stats on the new British tanks), even if some might be place holders.

        • So wut? They are most likely not final anyway.
I also look forward for playing those mission, but I honestly cannot understand the “hype” around it. I mean – posting the constantly changing mission texts again and again – what’s good in that?
Most other details (rewards, general conditions) have been revealed already and the FINAL missions will be released in roughly 5 weeks. Why bother flooding the site with preliminary crap every couple of days?

  14. THIS: (Heavy Tank, Mission # 15, for Object 260):

Main – The damage caused, damage received, and damage blocked by armor must be at least 18,000 HP in total

Is anything known, if those parameters should be fullfilled within one single match? If its so, its simply impossible. Even in case a player is in complete “Rambo”-mode, u cant be at every single spot a enemy tank might appear. 14 other people r shooting at the enemy as well. Either its impossible or its an invitation for being rigged. I.e. complete team out of a clan is servicing one single tank out of their group to dish out that insane damage.

Or is it possible to fullfill that damage parameter within several matches?!

    • no, single match only.

It’s doable, just a kind of “once per lifetime” achievement.

      • step 1. buy a proper heavy tank. is7, is4, E100, Maus
step 2. play it well, not even magnificently, just well
        step 3. get reward..

a proper tierX can easily do this. i mean, cmon.. a Maus can absorb 18.000dmg (received + bounced) in a third of the matches..

    • Likely a placeholder and will be lowered. Kinda agree it’s too much, even for Maus or 4502B. For Maus it’d mean nearly perfect game, 10k tanked, 3k before dying, 5k delivered.

      • which are almost a requirement for an “M” badge on a Maus..
so. yeah.. doable.. they did say “only experienced tankers”, and “not easy”
all it takes is for a tank of this kind to be placed on Himmelsdorf/Ruinberg/Ensk and it’s done..
provided you know how to play it, of course..

    • I’ve done this with MAUS couple of times. I admit this is kinda difficult, but not too difficult.
On the other hand, with E100 i have 2600+ average damage per battle (i think i play pretty well with that tank) and i must to say it is very very hard to get it done with.

    • Single battle, yes.

      Impossible for you, yes.

Mission is not meant for brainless stains, yes.

I will have no problem doing 6 k damage in maus, with 8k damage deflected and 3k damage taken in one game over 6 month period.

My daily Maus games are about 12k and that’s without even trying.

      • Perhaps you should ask WG if you can get a top reward tank per week then, super-duper unicum…?
At the same time you may try to write a post without the word “stain(s)” in it? No reward tanks for this I’m afraid.

  15. Why create such specific missions, instead just use long-run stats to determine who gets rewards. Instead of creating an incentive for people to play like idiots (shooting on the move) to get these missions. I’d rather see the reward given out to this effect… have over 10k games, some number of tier 10s and use some metric (Winrate, avg dmg, WG rating, etc) to rank players. Give top 1% the 260, top 5% T55a, top 10% etc, top 25% etc.

    • or maybe a combination of your aspects mixed with some challenge out of that mission placeholders.

    • ” have over 10k games, some number of tier 10s”

People won’t bother. The reward is too far away. this one rewards you as you go. And some other psychological advantages.

    • People need a challenge that’s why. That’s why we have quests in the games at all, what kind of dumb not-thought-out-at-all question is that?

Without quests, what would we have? Just run around the game for a while, and we will reward you with some arbitrary reward when credits roll which will happen randomly because we don’t really have any specific requirement to finish the game for you?

I swear we get dumbest shits in this forum.

      • I think you’re the worst. A pompous kid with a “come at me bro” attitude. You like to do “impossible tasks” at video games? go ahead, just stop making yourself some kind of homo superior.

        • Why, only kids are skilled and adults are incapable of playing something as simple as this game? It’s like some turd saying “Hey only fucking kids are good at chess” and yet, all grandmasters are adults? I guess it needs to be said, I am probably older than most people on this blog.

Impossible? No. Challenging? Yes, I do like challenging tasks. That’s why I am successful in life and work AND gaming. Why, you can’t balance all 3? Think people only capable of being good at one?

          Mwahahaha, what a useless turd.

  16. Ok, some missions are easy, some are challenging but nice, some are extremely hard but they do happen once in a while… however it’s not the really insane missions that worry me, its the ones that are not actually “individual” missions: example, 7000 spotting. It’s dooable, but only if your team are paying attention, and are not all tomatoes, this mission relies on your team to do well, and yet it’s supposed to be “your” “individual mission”. You can spot 15 tanks and have them spotted for 5 minutes, but if your team cant do 7k dmg, you can’t do the mission.

In short, missions that rely on others to do well have no place in “individual missions”.

    • Because this is not an “Individual” game. I think most people got stuck on the word individual despite not understanding that it has MORE meanings than “just you, only you, nothing but you and for you”.

WG used the term loosely (likely fucked up by translation from Russian, whether SS or English WG). What they mean is it’s a mission controlled by you, i.e you decide WHEN you are trying to complete it, HOW you are trying to complete and what reward you will want out of it.

But stupidity is unfix-able, so there we have people whining about something because apparently they don’t speak English language goodly, despite being NA/EU.

  17. fuck WG man i play this game for fun. Now a fucking JOB. I cant tolarete their fucking non-brainer event. Missions dont even automatic finish. You must work on by one by.
fuck you wg. this time you too far.

    • If you play for fun then why just forget these missions ? You can still have fun without these 4 reward tanks !

      • Clearly he is a turd that doesn’t understand the concept.

There is 350 tanks in the game that you have to play to get. Suddenly WG makes it harder to get 4 tanks than other tanks (and not even as hard as getting enough Xp for tier 10) and everybody loses their mind.

Fuck you turd Fiyan. I play this game for fun and I love the idea of having fun driving my easily acquired Obj 260.

  18. The platoon missions should only be a selectable option.

So if I’m right, WG expects us to team up with random ppl in a platoon, who I’ve never ever seen before, and perform these outer world requirements…

    FORGET IT

  19. That TD mission with “Destroy 3 enemy tanks before the enemy team can damage your allies” is just… seriously?!

Yeah, if you get insanely lucky and get to kill 3 suiscouts, otherwise…

Also, it will be interesting if most of the LT & TD mission results are performed on Prokhorovka, which has remained the sole map for scouting & sniping.

    • That one is something you have to do in T67, mate. It’s relatively easy if you get some tier 3 tanks.

There are much worse ones than that :)

      • From the TD Missions?

…no, not really. Well, okay – there’s also the one with dealing 4k damage or something and remaining undetected. The whole battle.

        Yeah, sure.

        • The TD branch of missions seems actually doable in general. And the one in question, I did it a couple times in T67. But yes, it does take some luck and a good map (and a big amount of tier 3 tanks.)

The “get a hit on 14 different tanks” mission, on the other hand..

        • I have 4 Raider medals (i.e CAP the flag by yourself without being detected entire game). I assure you this is MUCH harder than the mission is. I see no problem in doing it.

          • 4 medals in an eye watering 36,000 battles is not ‘no problem’ and neither are the requirements for this. I would argue that there is little chance of the majority of the playerbase achieving this. I also suspect that the frustration of achieving this will sour some people’s attitude to the game. Not because they are [insert unfounded insult here] players but because frustration is not fun. I can also see lots of early morning simultaneous battle clicking to get these.

      • Oh really ? You being the last to hit and kill 3 scouts, with a TD that does 110 dmg per shot ? No, I don’t think so, even if you’re lucky enough to meet 3 suicides, one of them will hit you or another player, OR someone else will steal your kills, you’d be lucky to kill 1-2.

The odds of you doing the mission are astronomical. I’ve done it in Type T-34, but certainly NOT before my team got damaged.

        • kill 3 scouts… there’s a medal for it: “nydin”,got that one 13 times, so yes, that one can be done to..

          • BEFORE any of your teammates get damaged.

I wish you the best of luck with that.
You’ll basically have to do counter-scouting in a TD. And actually KILL 3 tanks. Not damage. Kill.

  20. Oh, and another thing i ran across: Why on earth is there an order within each single mission? For example: u fullfill Mission #11 during your normal play. But up to this point u reached just #3. So all the effort ist nullified and its doubtable u will achieve it once again within the next, let’s say, 2 months. Thats complete nonsense. WG should take lessons in creating missions at Blizzard or any other game company.

My suggestion would be: Once activated, all your effort should run towards your benefit in fullfilling the specific tank type missions. And not “step by step”….

    • It’s so that you don’t overstrain yourself. You know, “i already spotted one enemy SPG. Sorry, team, that’s enough spotting for me. Now i’ll just hide in the thickest bush as far away from action as possible to survive and complete secondary mission”.

  21. “Surprise base capture is a great way to turn the tide of the battle in your favor”.

World of Caping is coming. In about a month, when IMs are supposed to launch, you can forget those credits and XP for damaged/destroyed tanks. I wonder how this will affect players doing other missions. You know:
    - stop caping i still need need to damage 2 tanks!
    - well screw you, i need 90% base cap!

    • - stop caping i still need need to damage 2 tanks!
      - well screw you, i need 90% base cap!

      —–

      ^ this

      • and this differs from current situation how?

clanmate raged two days ago.. some moron capped the base while he was about to get his 10th kill for the “Pool”..

yeah.. love and understanding.. morons will always be morons..

        • It’ll be te same just on much much worse scale. If it was “two days ago”, now it will be “twice in a row every today and every other battle on sundays”.

This reminded me of the special event on Warthunder GF some time ago. A premium tank was awarded for a certain amount of frags (60 or something like that). I didn’t know that (i play WT very little and don’t follow news at all) and was taken aback by people not caring for mission at all. When i asked in chat “why no one plays to win?” i got “fu*k this, we’re here just for the kills!”. In WT it was one time event. In WoT it’s here to stay if IMs are to last 6 months…

  22. Many of these missions are absolutely impossible for most of the players in WoT to complete, what exactly is WarGaming smoking?

    • They’ve already stated that they intend only 10% of the playerbase to complete them (as in, get the Obj. 260)

What’s a bit fishy is that there are certain missions for each tank class is 90% tailored for just 1-2 specific tanks.
Like the “destroy at least 2 Heavy Tanks that are 2 tiers higher than you and deal 3k damage” – hello, T29 spamming APCR at E-75s.

      • If they keep those requirements, not even 1% will get 260. I’d be surprised if 0.1% did.

      • When did WG said they hope 10% players can complete Obj 260 mission ? Or did they just said “individual mission” generally, because that would sound more logical ?

      • If mission requirements remain as they are right now, approximately 10% of players will indeed be able to complete the mission chain. For StuG IV.

Anything else is just wishful thinking on WG’s part. I wonder if they are going to relax the requirements after a couple of months of not getting anywhere close the 10% mark and face the butthurt of those players who actually were able rig the matches and win Object 260 or they will find some other method for players to win “tokens” ?

        • I really can’t picture 10% playerbase completing this. Sorry, but it’s just ridiculous.

          • I once couldn’t picture someone running 100 meters in less than 10 seconds. Imagine my surprise.

It’s a well known logical fallacy: “Most people think they are better than they are and therefore, anything that they cannot do, cannot be done.” The reality is really eye opening. For every shit stain who thinks this is impossible, there are 20 people who just quietly do it.

I thought getting 20 battles in which you don’t die medal was impossible. Until I saw a guy with 36 battles streak.

Your limitations is your shitty brain, not other people.

            • After reading some of your comments in this post, I bet you’re trying to get the tittle of idiot of the blog or something like that, aren’t you?.

            • Before one starts with pompous speeches, he should double and triple-check his facts. Many epics like Raseiniai were padded when you could rig companies. Survival badge is a matter of playing low tiers and getting two good friends (possibly unicum) who will carry the team while you basecamp or support them from safe place at best. It has absolutely nothing to do with skill and is a matter of luck and/or strategy.

TL;DR version: drop the pompous “you can do everything” speeches, it doesn’t make you look good when you’re talking about a video game. it’s not a shitty “personal coaching” lesson for 200$.

              • I didn’t say “you can do everything”, I said 10% of the gamers can and will. I am just pointing out tirelessly that this missions ARE NOT FOR YOU!

You find them impossible? I do not. Your excuses of “If someone does something I can’t, they are cheating” are as pathetic as they come. Gaming world is filled with shit stains like you yelling “hax!” when they simply can’t understand why someone is better than you.

And it’s fine. When those good players get the reward tanks and you got shit, you call cry “hax” all you want.

  23. Q: if I fulfill only a main part of some of this missions will be this mission available for another attempt in next battle for finishing additional part or it will be locked (marked as finished)?

    • I’ve been in the test server this afternoon. When you get an activated mission done it gives you the option to a) consider it as done and close it or b) retry it to try to get the secondary part as well.

You decide if you want to try again. If you do, I guess that you lose the completion of the primary mission.

  24. Oh great, light tank missions are impossible for the last two tanks. If you thought 14k dmg blocked and dealt with heavy was hard, try being the first to spot 10 enemies AND survive , or to deal dmg to 5 tanks while on the move, with your pathetic light gun and your crosshair the size of a house.

No arty, no light – no chance for the tanks. Fuck your stupid IM.

    • The “spot 10 and survive” is doable on campinovka encounter on a tier 5-6 LT in a tier 7 game, I think. But it’s extremely random of course. You need binocs, you need to spawn on the proper side of the map, you need to spawn near the “critical bush” to get there in time and you need lots of HTs in the opposing team. You also have to be the only LT in your team with no suicide scouts or YOLO MTs in your team.

      • Theoretically, every mission is doable. The odds of that happening is what really worries me, I doubt in 10k games you’d be able to do all missions for the Obj 260.

    • Prokonofka, a type 64, a chaffee, or a spy panzer. 10 tanks spotted and get 7000 spotting damage, and survive. Did that and have seen people do that.

  25. Deal 1000 dmg by RAMMING in a MEDIUM tank!? WTF ,any ideas on this one?
    That’s it for me,im never getting Obj907.

    • There’s only 2 meds which qualify for that – E-50 and E-50M. So better start grinding that line asap, otherwise you can’t finish that one. Or better yet, forget it all together, you’ll save your sanity.

  26. does anyone how that mission activating will work, do we activate only one mission for one tank type (one mission for LT, HT, TD, MT or SPG), or do we activate all missions for example one type, 15 missions for LT for only one reward tank, or do we activate all missions for all tank types for one reward tank?

i would really appriciate it if anyone can reply, thanks

    • I asked one of the Russian youtubers who is working with WG and he said that you need to complete entire mission for the class of your choice. I. e. you can’t do first missions with different classes (as those would be easiest ones) and get needed tokens.

  27. Ok, what is this?

Mission #12 Thanks to great view range and the accurate gun, you can destroy enemy vehicles before they get too close.
Advise – You are an asset to the team when you are active. It is not a good idea to remain at the friendly base during the entire battle.

Main – Destroy 3 enemy vehicles before they cause damage to any of your allies. Additional – Win the battle. Survive the battle.

    Is this a joke?

  29. SS: will we be able to simply BUY these tanks at a later date? I will spend less time and frustration at my real job earning the money to purchase them, than to play that many missions!

  30. I was waiting for IM. Now i got disappointed and I’ll simply pass them. They are not skill based, in some cases, it requires more luck than skill!!!

  31. I think TD mission 12 and 13 are the ones that stand out as far az “impossible factor goes”, the rest is probably doable, but you will always have players that screw those ones up. How can those be considered individual missions?
Platton missions should be left out, since there are probably a couple thousand players who never play in a platoon. Basicly those exlude people from gettiung rewards who don’t have buddies to play with. You know people without friends… Like me. Or you.

  32. Me like it ! Most of the missions are doable some require a certain amount of luck and time but given the time required to finish them I’d say its no problem for most slightly above average players who have the time to play at least 2 hours a day. The worst thing about these missions is that you have to platoon which is quite shitty.

  33. It should read as additional requirements for tank level X:

    Not have life.
    No study, work.
    Have sufficient food/body fat reserves
    Being Korean.
    Not having children.
    Have no family… virtually.
    UNTHINKABLE wedding.
Have monetary reserves to pay for basic services by X time…
OK, just this occurred to me… but there should be more details.

I am a good player, it could take many missions, but I find it unthinkable to have X-Tier, I have life.
If WG wants to give a tank tier X, which would make it with real requirements, since a player has a good mind to give notice that these missions are sick.

  34. Couple things – First, I like many here really do appreciate SS et al doing the work to translate and give us all the heads up of whats comin down the pipe next. Thanx to you and your crew SS.

Second. The missions themselves are a great idea – up until the point they mandate being in platoons. We already have far, far, FAR too many incentives for clans and team bullshit, now they want platoons. Speaking for myself? Im an antisocial SOB, and I know it. Hell. I take pride in it. I have ZERO fucking interest in wasting my time on BS missions that require me to play in platoons. Good way to further alienate the majority of players there WG, I take it you all weren’t happy with how much fucking over RNG and MM does to us independent types? FFS, I earned my tier X tanks, on my fucking own. I am personally getting real fed up with the bullshit constantly foisted upon the players of this game in favor of bullshit clans/teams/platoons that reward only those that live the game 24/7 and not those who have actually fucking spent money on this gods-forsaken game.

Yet another broken aspect of an increasingly broken game.

  35. So there are 15 missions for each Class? but I have to finnish all these for the StuG only?

    And second:

If I finnish the 4th part in the first LT mission.

The “Main – Win the battle. Finish the battle as the top player on both teams by experience earned. Additional – Survive the battle.”

Do I get the easier missions at the same time then? The:

“Main – Win the battle. Join the top 10 players on your team by experience earned. Additional – Survive the battle.”?

    • You should read more carefuly: “First row is for StuG, second for T28C, third for T55A, fourth for Object 260″. You can’t start mission 4.1 without completing FULL missions for three previous tanks.

To get each tank you need to collect 20 “tokens”. 4 tokens are given for completing main objective of the 15th mission of each set (i.e. vehicle class) and 1 token – for the secondary objective. Which means that completing 14 missions only unlocks 15th mission that awards tokens. So you can complete main objectives of all 5 sets and get 5×4, or main and secondary objectives of four sets and get 4×5. Good thing is that you can repeat (or “improve your result” in game terms) the mission if you fail to achieve secondary objective.

  36. I’m seeing a number of people writing that they did this that or the other once and that its no problem. Doing some once, three times, even ten times in thousands or even tens of thousands of battles means that something is not easy or no problem, it is freakishly, frustratingly hard. The frustration of this is going to increase the needless level of stress that this game can bring to people. I do not see these missions as a positive for the game and I can see that a lot of people will not bother and in the conscious effort of trying to not bother to get something being dangled ‘for free’ I can see this actually souring people towards this game.

  37. Fukin retarded missions requirements! + you cant just play and fulfill them. If you do somehow manage to do the requirements of a later mission (1 of 10000 battles case) you may not get it as you did not unlock and activate this. Yeah good luck setting 2 players on fire in 1 battle.
FRUSTRATION! Those missions will be nothing more than frustration and RAGE!!!!
I am already fukin pissed off by those retards of WG! Fukin idiots! DO they even play this game or just look at a pile of exxel files and say – OHHH there is 1000 battles last month where this happened, so we must totally make everyone on the fukin servers try to do it! Fukin morons!

  38. I’d like each of the developers to play these missions and let us know when they win each tank. See you next year!

  39. Some of these missions (even for the Obj.260) are ridiculously easy but some are almost impossible, especially if you try to do the additional objectives. “You don’t have to do the arty missions, just do all the additional objectives” seriously fuck you WG, I want to do the missions but some of them are complete BS

  40. Do you complete missions linearly (only one at a time and some sort of activation/unlocking), or can you just play and complete missions randomly as you go.

  41. It’s funny to see tomatos getting angry already. These might be the first tanks ever scrubs won’t be able to get. GJ WG.
You don’t play platoons/arti/lights? Well, it’s like if you don’t play cw. It’s your choice and you’re not getting the reward.
Some of the missions require specific tanks or tiers to become much easier. Some require a platoon helping you in a specific way. Some require you doing something strange – I can’t remember the last time I capped in pubs. As a result there will be many platoons acting strangely which is the only downside I can see.
There are currently only 2 missions I find hard. Countering 3 arties and the last HT one with 18k combined dmg. The rest can be reliably done without much luck involved and most of them will become easier when wg balances them.

    • Yeah, because “Set 2 enemy vehicles that are 1 tier higher than your vehicle on fire.” is totally dependant on skill… Aim at the right place and pray to SerB/RNGesus. Even unis might find some missions extremely difficult due to extreme random factors involved.

  42. Well, fuck those missions then. I don’t have the most suitable tanks to do them, I don’t play in platoons, and I don’t have a shitload of luck. When is wg going to implement some skill (not that I have any) based misions?…

OK, never… Hm, hm, hm… Wait, where’s “detonate ammo racks of three enemy tanks” mission? Hey, I did that like last week in my su-100! It’s possible, so it’s perfect for IM!

And I was hoping to get the t-55a…
    :/

    • Lol. These are not skill-based missions? I wonder what you’d consider skill-based then. Yes, luck is certainly involved but I can assure you there won’t be many “lucky” tomatos driving the 260.
You sound like one of those “my stats suck cuz I only get bad teams” guys. Good think you don’t platoon and thus have a great excuse.

      • “Spot enemy vehicles and enable your allies to destroy at least 4 vehicles spotted by you. Survive the battle.”
You need a competent team to kill what you spot. Doesn’t happen often. Same goes for every “spot/do x spotting/assist dmg”

“Damage or destroy 7 modules, or injure 7 crew members of the enemy vehicle. ”
Kv-2 with derp or lucky fire needed, no skill involved.

“Destroy 2 enemy light tanks while on the move”
Well, lol. Trying to kill 2 suiscouts while on the move – you have to be blessed by rngesus.

“Destroy 3 enemy vehicles before they cause damage to any of your allies”
        Have fun with that.

“Destroy 2 enemy light tanks before any of your allies causes damage to them. ”
        Same here.

“Destroy an enemy vehicle that is moving at the speed of at least 50 km/h.”
Pray to SerB and you might be able to do that.

In fact, you can be screwed hard by rng/mm while trying to do most those missions. Have fun trying. There won’t be many tomatoes driving obj260? Well, there won’t be that many unicums either.

  43. I don’t have the time to explain everything as I’m using a phone – sorry about the typos.

    “Spot enemy vehicles and enable
your allies to destroy at least 4
    vehicles spotted by you. Survive
    the battle.”
Bring 2 competent friends to an open map, spot, wait, done. You don’t have to use your useless team, you know.

    “Damage or destroy 7 modules,
Find a WT or a Fr tank, hit it with HE or hesh a few times. Done. Hint: Use 1-3 to switch beteen shell types.

    “Destroy 3 enemy vehicles before
they cause damage to any of your
    allies”
Ever noticed how many people end up with 0 dmg? You just kill 3. There are always some useless basecampers. A good player can kill 3 with a Hellcat b4 they even spot him.

“Destroy an enemy vehicle that is
moving at the speed of at least 50km/h
If you can’t hit a moving Bat with apcr, you should practice your marksmanship. Hell, you can even kill a heavy tank going downhill. But WG is aware that noobs can’t aim so they made this one easy.

There sure will be a lot of green+ players driving all 4 tanks. All the decent clans will get these with ease. The rest will complain about bad luck, need to platoon and other bs. GL.

    • So basically it’s luck, luck, luck, luck, rng, luck, rng and more luck&rng. I’m green, and I might be able to get stug. If I bother to do these missions anyway. Stop your bs pls.

      • This is exactly why I wrote the original post :-) Bad players whine about platoons, rng and luck. Good ones will get the tanks and they already know how. Everybody can suck long enough to get a tier 10 or free IS6. Well, now for the first time you have to show some skill. Don’t worry tho, there will be a x-mas mission where you get a tank for logging in. No luck needed there.

        • Jebus.

Are you even playing wot? You can be a unicum and rng can screw you up so hard you’ll miss a maus from 30 meters (not exactly this, but there’s a youtube vid when QB was anally raped by rng, see for yourself). MM can screw you hard – “k, I’ll do mission for 3 counter arty kills” – NOPE, 100 games with 2 arties max or… 5 arties per team + 5 sui scouts, so 1)enemy arty dies within first minute, or 2)you die within first minute.

Streaks of bad luck/rng can and WILL happen. And if missions are to some (large in some cases) degree BASED on luck/rng… Have fun being screwed.

          • Oh, and one more thing: the “kill enemy tank that’s moving at least 50 kph” is for arty, the most rng dependant class in game. So, have you even READ the mission reqs?

            • Also: “HURR DURR BAD PLAYERS WON’T BE ABLE TO GET THOSE TONKS AT LAST” – go read some posts on wotlabs (kingdom of wot unicorns) forum. Or maybe purples are new tomatoes? Did I miss something?

            • Yup, everyone has bad streaks. So what? You’ll have months to complete the IMs. Or do you get THAT long streaks of bad luck?

Counter 3 arti mission would seriously damage the gameplay and I expect it to change. I stated earlier this is 1 of 2 missions that would require very special approach. I still know how to get it done within about 20 games.

Yup, I read the mission req. I just don’t remember the really easy ones. Killing a vehicle going straight is easy. While arti is somewhat RNG dependant if you aim well it won’t take more than 3 shots to get this done. Get an accurate arti with a low shell arc and play lower tiers where almost every tank can hit 50 kph and people tend to drive straight. Hellcat for example can barely turn, hits 50 easily and is 1-shot most of the time.

Do you even think about the missions before you start crying?

              • If you’re blessed by rng it can take three shots, but that’s not exactly skill.

Do dmg/spotting dmg/tracking dmg exceeding x% of your tanks hp n-times, spot x enemy tanks on average while achieving x% of your tanks hp assist dmg on average in n battles, kill x tanks, over the course of x battles get n avg exp (base, non-premium)… And I’m sure community would be able to think about dozens of challenges that are not that much dependant on rng/luck and more on skill.

My today’s bad luck streak – 57% wr (53,9% overall), almost 1800 wn8 (1400 overall). Lame, before my 1,5 year break I could get 60%wr and 2k wn8 dailies easily. Your points are still invalid.

  44. The arty mission with the goal of counterartying 3 arties in a single game promotes nothing but bad play. Most of the rest of the missions seem fairly doable, the object260 missions have a few really tough ones though.

    • I worry that the whole concept promotes bad play unfortunately. Having your meds trying to ram other tanks instead of just shooting them, while your TDs are trying to remain undetected having killed a couple of higher tier tanks and your arties not shooting on targets they see because they need to kill undetected ones. Sounds like madness and can have a seriously bad impact on gameplay imho.

If at least they could allow non-sequential completion without having to activate each mission in turn…
What if there are less than three lights or three arties in the game in the respective missions? Are people going to just be quitting and joining a new battle for better luck? I fear that IM with their current design can turn out to be quite a bad idea.

      • Ya, I fear that as well. The good thing is most players won’t even know about/do the im and more will only go for stug which doesnt really need you to do strange stuff. On the other hand there will be a lot of great players doing the stuff you described and worse. And then there will be match rigging and TKs. I hope it will be rare and WG know what they are doing.

  45. Me, I just want two: T28C and Stug IV. I’ll give it a shot cause I do have people in my Clan that will help me with the Platoon part. No Problem. I’m learning to do better with the Light. Won’t be easy, so I’ll just have to quit the bitching, and just go with the flow. SPG? No Fucking Problem. Did all top missions, I had to repeat twice on two or three. Hey, it’s the test server. Did the first Medium Mission, completed the 3 of 4 requirements: Survive, Do damage: G W Tiger P and Obj. 140 (both killed by me; had to go round robin with the 140), and join the top tier, I was #1 with over 2400 damage and 1897 xp w/o modifier x2. Didn’t win.

So yes, this is achievable. All I have to do is stop bitching.
