9.5 CT2 Patchnotes

Hello everyone,

second round of common test is on. Patchnotes:

Many gameplay and interface issues in personal missions fixed.
Conditions of most of the personal missions adjusted.

Vehicles

- Parameters adjusted for the following new version 9.5 vehicles: M2, Stuart I, Grant I, Sherman III, Archer, Sherman Firefly, Achilles IIC, Challenger/Avenger, Charioteer, FV4004 Conway, FV4005 Stage 2.
- Some parameters of the T-55 NVA DDR tank adjusted.
- Some issues with visual models fixed for the following vehicles: IS-7, M2, Achilles IIC, Sherman III, Challenger/Avenger, Panther mit 8,8 cm L/71, Т-55 NVA DDR, Т95E2, Stuart I.
- Some issues with damage models fixed for the following vehicles: Maus, T28 concept, SU-14, FV4005 Stage 2, Challenger/Avenger, Т95E2.
- Issues with Camouflage fixed for the following vehicles: Churchill I, Panther mit 8,8 cm L/71, Sherman Firefly.
- Color of the Achilles IIC tank destroyer icon fixed.
- Damage of the Chinese 122 mm Sha-bao-471 HE shell increased from 465 to 530.

Maps

- Issues with the new maps Mittengard, Ghost Town, and Winterberg fixed.
- Some gameplay and visual issues on the Stalingrad map fixed.
- Performance on the maps Ghost Town and Mittengard improved.
- Consumption of memory on the Windstorm map reduced.
- Issues with the visual and damage models of some enviromental objects fixed.

Interface and Other

- Issue with the message that the player has no personal missions started appearing upon pressing TAB in battle fixed.
- Issues with autosearch in the Team Battle mode fixed.
- Some interface issues in the Stronghold mode fixed.
- Display of expanded minimap features when using the “Upon pressing Alt” option fixed.
- Issue with the SPG sector of fire displayed on the minimap even when that option is disabled fixed.
- Issue with the constantly appearing settings for the SPG sector of fire and camera direction beam on the minimap fixed.
- Sharpness of the captions on the minimap increased.
- Display of messages in the battle chat after rejoining the battle fixed.
- Some hang-ups and crashes of the game client fixed.
- Some effects of shells hitting the vehicle reworked.
- Issues with vehicle freezes at the end of the battle fixed.
- Display of the battle interface in the Garage fixed.
- Issues with performance decrease when scrolling the list of missions on the personal missions screen fixed.
- Performance on some PC configurations increased.
- Issue with the inability to destroy objects with APCR and HEAT shells fixed.

    • I ain’t even mad. Chinese shells always had little care and even less attention from players. Like the situation with Po shells (chinese HEAT) that had over 400+ mm penetration for 4 patches at least after they added glorious chinese tech tree.

    • So much this.

      Because players ignorance about Chinese tech gives me and other zhongqua tanke fans enormous advantage in combat.

    • It’s in supertesting for 9.5, therefore you can assume it will be released in 9.6 provided nothing goes wrong in testing

  3. How you ever noticed how much longer it loads when there is a lot of ruskies? :D
    In EU server – boom and timer starts.
    In test – omg, those calculators…

    • You should visit NA server … all those players with their shitty computers. I am running a Core2 Duo and I have to wait about 15-30 seconds for countdown to start!?!?!

      And it is very common for battle to start with 2-3 inactive players (who still haven’t loaded the map).

  4. In case there is someone else interested: The files for the new years / xmas garage are working now. So if you want to use it already in 9.4, like many did last year, you can extract your “hangar_premium_ny.pkg” using winrar from the “res\packages” of the test client, copy the folders from the extracted stuff into your “res_mods.9.4″ folder, open “res_mods.9.4\spaces”, and rename the “hangar_premium_NY” folder thats in there to “hangar_premium_V2″, or “hangar_V2″, depends on what type of account you are running.

  5. BTW, most of the arty missions for Obj 260 are simply impossible to complete. Ok, you may get lucky and do some of them in half a year, but all of them!? I don’t think there’s anyone, who could do that.
    So, if the conditions stay the same – you will have to get all the tokens in all other classes.

      TD mission 13, finish top1 and do 4x the damage as the second best on your team, holy moses

  7. Already noticed a bug the consumables window doesn’t work it wont let you pick consumables. Maybe just me ?

    Edit: restarted client works now that was just weird The UI was fucked up.

    Huh, this is the HE Shell for the gun on, for example the T-34-3…

    T-34-3 – AP damage? 390. HE right now? 465
    WZ-120 w/122mm – AP Damage? 440. HE? 530

    Great job WG, but I won’t complain. lol.

  9. The FV4005 literally is another shitty one trick pony, and a really bad one at that. Woras is a masochist, but at least it’s free damage :D

    Honestly, they should have left the reload alone, the nerfed FV183 is still better.

    • Nerfed Death Star is actually better than it was. The mobility wasn’t great before, but even now, it doesn’t feel like T95. But THAT turret armor – I love it. All sorts of gold came into my turret and none penetrated. I even facehugged some Tier8/9 tanks, simply waited for the reload and hit them 2nd time if needed, but they couldn’t pen me from that close range.
      And Death Star 2 is not bad either. Ok, the lack of armor can play against you, but I love the fact, that you can moove quite fast and you don’t have to aim for a week with it as you should on the old FV.

    This part should be defined by devs, its as important as the fakin shao bao shell damaging 70 hp more -.- ………..
