WG EU Fail – Missing Missions

Hello everyone,

we all know WG EU tends to fail (sometimes in spectacular ways). I am sure you are asking: “what did they do THIS time?” – well, the smart boys and gals from WG EU disabled ALL the missions and discounts during server restart. Bravo!

    And I was just about to get some more grinding for WZ-111.
    I guess watching TV is better option. If anyone will notice the problem fixed let us know here.

  3. not during server restart….serv restart its about 7-8 am right? i was in game at 6 am and no misions.

  5. Yeah it was about 5am this hit… 10000 damage in three games not added to my tank grind… c’est la vie.

    Wonder if this will be fixed at all today considering its sunday

    ..So who wants to bet they end up resetting every mission and we can restart our grind for the WZ-111. Remember it is EU we are talking about, the ones who only cater to no lifers and whales.

    And it is sunday to boot, i doubt anyone is at the office that can fix this, time i give up completing 4 of the 7 missions i guess

    • Why should they care about freeloaders?

        Dont worry it is still early morning here.

        Anyway, the game does not consist of whales and freeloaders only.
        Of all players who pay only a small amount consist of whales the rest are casual players who spend a bit of money every now and then.

      • This is an incentive to play the game more which can in turn cause more people to spend money on it which results in more money for wg so why the fuck would they not cater to everybody because there’s always the potential that someone who didn’t intend to spend money on the game will spend money and besides they introduced the “free to win” model by themselves so any shit that’s flung at them is deserved because that wouldn’t be adhering to the model. Besides from statistics there are significantly more “free loaders” than the people who pay for the game so remove the “free loaders” from the equation and you end up with a small player base which would likely result in the return of some of the older more ridiculous matchmaking set ups. so its a good idea for them to cater to everybody who is playing the FREE TO PLAY GAME.

  7. Well i did have terrible day yesterday but still managed to do 89 kills for 260 total….i don’t think i can start over again….

    • They will just prolong the mission for 1 week and say “Well, sorry, shit happens”. Oh, and we may get the rare BT-SV on sale again…

      If my employees were so incompetent as WG EU staff I would fire every one of them. Goddamn idiots, unable to complete a simple server restart without screwing it up. I am not going to play until they fix this mess.

    • What I am afraid is that they probably might not be able to revive the mission progress unless they simply load the status quo from yesterday.

    • I am not waiting for frags or anything, by regular playing (but much more) I´ve managed to already complete german mission and 1/4 to half on other nations in first 5 days.

    • If that is really true.. Why the f**k would you cancel the EU missions? I doubt US servers and RU servers have the same problems

  13. …well, thx to T54 and Centur 7/1 i managed to complete at least 2 nations…but it cost me a lot (credits, patience, TIME etc.) and now THIS??? I couldnt believe my eyes this morning…Ok, i was a little bit scared of the upcoming update (u never know, remember the shitstorm after 9.0?), but this, omg…

  17. News: WG EU accidentally wiped their mission data with no backup available, until now there have been no comments from the WG EU staff as they are in a state of despair.

    And a weather forecast: Major shitstorm incomming

    • if thats true then they better not just give n extension to the time they better reduce the requirements im not grinding the wz 111 until February when i intended to have it done before mid January hit.

    • I am somewhat curious as to whether disabling the missions in the way they have has wiped the stored data in terms of progress. I havent noticed something like this happen before during a large grind where the missions fully disappear from the game for a time, so It will be interesting to see the outcome

      • it was meant as a joke. WG EU is known for their incompetence, but I dont think they are capable of deleting the data, ;)

        • True, but nothing would surprise me lately with them… thats not to say they are the worst devs in the world, not by a long shot. It just really wouldnt have surprised me.
