Useful Support is Useful

It’s not that big of a deal, but it kinda made me laugh (well, that upper right corner part for some reason) :) Thanks to eXterminus for this one.

Oh and if you are wondering about the guy’s answer: “The bug you encountered is known and we are trying to solve it. It should be fixed in the next update.”

Hmmm… so it’s not a mod issue, interesting.

      • Never quite understood the thing where kids race to leave completely useless comments, just to be the first. I mean, it makes you look like a bit of a muppet, and being the first comment _everyone_ will get to see you’re one…

        About the answer…
        Our issue is not that WG does not listen… Its they dont understand :)

    • Even funnier: Anthony Orwell does not sound very French – there are even grammatical errors in the French text :)

    • Everything can happen. When I write ticket in English they
      1/ ask me to contact Czech support (perhaps to reduce work for english speaking support if there’s excuse like IP from not english speaking country)
      2/ “remove mods, remove application data, reinstall WoT, perhaps Windows or STFU&GTFO”
      When I write ticket in Czech they
      1/ ask me to write it on Czech WoT forum (no idea what is the purpose of Czech support besides of sucking money from WG)
      2/ same as above

      Obviously they might even look at bug tracking system and admit that problem exists.
      I wonder if someone had reply like – We tried to reproduce it, it took us 3 minutes, confirmed.

        • Once when I had a ticket that there were a few responses to (all in English) they suddenly decided to answer in Spanish. The really funny thing is that is was a response to someone else’s ticket.

        Maybe because it’s one of the three largest communities on EU server? (and in EU, largest = most paying). According to you logic it’s the English that is somehow redundant as there are very few native English speakers around (compared to other nationalities).

        Maybe the game / forum should be in original language eg. Belarussian, including the script, in order to make those English-is-the-only-language-on-Earth idiots think a bit. Mate, there are areas where English is next to shit when it comes to speak with locals. And those areas are neither small nor insignificant (let take France, Italy, Spain, much of South America, parts of United States, most of Balkans etc. as examples).

        Fortunately idiots like you don’t usually make decisions…

  1. I see, I’ve been getting answers in German for some reason. I do not speak nor understand that language very well but I manage and use translation sites for words I don’t know. This is WG EU so I would expect many languages because there are so many on the region they handle. Maybe they are incompetent or not funded well enough to get proper support for each language, I don’t know. I would like to use Finnish but I think it’s easier for support just to use English. But why German reply for English ticket?

    • I wonder if stupidities like these are part of those hints at WG EU changes we’ve seen in a recent FTR post.

      Those copypasted answers annoy the hell out of me tbh… “This has happened to me before, and I know it is very unpleasant when you meet this kind of players.” – in any ticket you raise related to a player account, including the same grammar errors.

    The only time I got an answer with some hand-made stuff writen is when I sent a replay where I said “WG bunch of fuckers not testing their own game”. :)

    • Not really no it just means that there are lots of questions that basically have the same answer so to save time mods have ‘scripted’ replies which they copy and paste.

      If selling tanks is a know problem why wouldn’t the mods have a stock answer to it?

    • Indeed by far the worst Gaming Company out there, i dont recommend to buy any of their stuff.
      The issues over the last years are countless…=(

      • On the era of mobile consoles I loved Rayman series by Ubisoft, but those games had no bugs that I could remember.

      • Origin has absolutely amazing support, you get into a chat with someone competent under 5 minutes and he will then spend as long as you want him to trying to find out how to fix your problem, if that isn’t possible they’ll offer immediate refunds or give you other games in exchange.

        Uplay on the other hand…

  3. Customer Support The Answer : THERE IS NONE.

    No one in this company gives a crap about the players or the customers of this game. NA customer support is a Joke. Quite certain EU Asia and even Russia same thing.
