For reasons unknown, Hidden Village now has the castle from Sacred Valley standing in the village. The village was also somewhat reworked.

The change is only the castle? No changes in the other side of the map?

Hidden nerf for open-topped Rhm.-Borsig (O.o)

lol i can’t wait for the Brosig the Waffle PZ4 and the Waffle HE-100 to get double the reload when you get winter maps in a blizzard :P
Hey, it is not bad! I mean really… WG told that i mid future there will be sand- or winterstorms, which will reduce the view range, so let reduce also the reload on open-topped vehicles.
1v1 arty VS heavy gonna drive around castle because draw yippee !
there looks to be a hill to go behind the castle too to give cover
I guess it’s because they realised some hard cover was desirable. Colour scheme is all wrong though. It does look like they just dug it up and plonked it in there.
Oh wait…
Whoa, you might be on to something.
There even seems to be a hill and a new pathway behind the castle!
I would really like to see in devs heads.
What was so wrong with that temple area?
No hard cover. It was an absolute death trap if you just didn’t blitz through and make to the dip (either side) under enemy snipers’ guns.
The centre was good covered and i dont see how this bigger temple help you rush to dip.
good camo TD could wreck entire teams in the current one. Provided of course the enemy leaves the town alone.
I can see why. so there is something solid to take cover behind form the center lane cross fire.
But if that is the only change to it. And if they did not widen the stall lane at the 0 line. Then its just silly.
Reason is obvious, the Lord of Sacred Valey conquered hidden village and ordered to build a castle for his garrison similar to the one in Sacred Valley. You in this tanks have no idea about strategies of feudal lords. Play sometimes other games! ;)
Korean castle in a Japanese town…seems legit.
Also, why didn’t they remove that mountain that takes up the entire Southwestern corner of the map? I just don’t get why these devs have to be so insistent on rendering such large chunks of the map unusable like that!
What in the fucking hell does a Korean castle in a Japanese village :D… The Koreans wont be amused I can imagine :D
Actually the Koreans might find it hilarious (implying that they captured a Japanese town and put a castle there as a reminder).
Looks alright, though the new area behind the caste… I’d appreciate if people responsible could be bothered to give those changes more natural look. All these new map changes lack visual detail – feels like someone just made a bunch of lines in the editor and called it a day.
This looks more appealing to do with WG map makers.

Why do we lose more of the maps to useless terrain for battles?
Looks like the village had too many opportunities for flanking and free movement. Had to get some obstacles in there to divide it into lanes.
ah…. It’s strange.. raised floor with stone is Japanese castle’s feature but the main gate is Korean castle…
