Wargaming Recording Sound at Saumur

Thanks to Tyrexdunet for this one!

Hello everyone,

Wargaming is apparently recording sound at the French Musée des Blindés in Saumur. The FB page of the museum posted several pictures from the recordings, that include a T-34 and Renault UE armored carrier.

  1. There are only two T-34′s in France, and the 2nd one is in Musée de l’Abri in Hatten, and it’s also in running condition!

    Btw, 1rd!

  2. If they’re indeed recording, I just hope they finally make good engine sounds. Something close to this would be nice https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QCCCKiQWMRM

Can’t understand how a big company like WG, suck so bad at sound engineering when a freaking smaller company like Relic can make cinematic and better tank sounds on their game (CoH2), albeit “unrealistic”. It’s not about “realism” really, it’s about the impact it gives a player.

  3. Man, I really hope they will record the Tiger II as well ! *_* The father of some friend of mine helped with its electrical systems’ restoration…

  4. I can’t wait to see how they record AMX 50B running its engine, I’m not even sure if it’s in running condition ;D

As for ARL 44…. well this one’s for sure not in the running condition :P
