2.12.2013

Hello everyone,

check out Listy’s article about Comet vs Tigers clash. Also, Chieftain posted a pretty interesting article on wacky British/US projects :)

Unfortunately, yesterday and today there were no developer answers whatsoever, with one exception:

- there won’t be special (specific) Taiwanese crew (and other insignia etc) for Taiwanese tanks

I am thinking of including a part of daily translations specifically for WoWp QA, as there now is (since November) a dedicated QA thread (just like for WoT). Is it worth it?

    • I was playing WoWp daily up to release. I’m not sure if it’s just made badly or that planes and 3d space combat isn’t my thing… but one thing is absolutely bad, the interface and hangar are awful.

Since the release I’m not playing woWp anymore…

      • I don’t give two shits about WoWP either. I tried playing it once, and I’m not in any hurry to play it again. I play War Thunder for my air combat gaming.

  1. if it won’t lower the quality of your usual work and stress you too much, we would be grateful if you do WoWp Q&A translations :)

  2. Doing a WoWp would be something neat for you to do, so long as it doesn’t hinder what great work you’re doing with WoT.

WoWp and WoT (and just-alpha’d WoWs) will start to build up on each other, so it wouldn’t hurt the WoT players to know what’s happening on the other games, and vice versa.

  3. ash that sucks I was looking forward to more info about the Jap tanks or even the second british medium line.

  4. WoWp QA? Yes, please!

If it’s worth it or not is up to the views you get, so please give it a few weeks and see if it’s worth your time investment.

Afterall, the majority of your viewers don’t comment, so don’t listen to the haters.
You yourself have commented multiple times (lately on the hall of shame) that if people don’t like it, don’t read it and don’t comment. Give us who would like it an option, as there isn’t a good alternative.
Besides, I’d like my WG information in one place :)

      WoWp sucks real hard…

  5. Wowp section could be a nice side project, every week 1 blog would make me very happy :)

    • Because WoWp development ties to WoT development.

Improved graphics were first tested on WoWp before being applied on WoT.

The mission system from WoT was derived from the WoWp system of giving x2/x3/x5 for the first 2, or 5 wins of the day.

  6. I’m totally for WoWP Q&A, so SS, if that’s possible – go for it! This blog is already the biggest WoT-related blog, it can become the biggest “Worlf of…” blog, with the help of some new authors(I’m sure there are plenty of people willing to share their knowledge about planes ;D)

  7. I would be interested. I play just three lines, really (Russian bombarders, Japanese and British fighters) and I am curious in which direction they aim to fix the current issues the game has (Overlord had quite nice ask blog post on his web recently)

  8. In my opinion additional section dedicated for WoWP (and in future WoWS) would be awesome.

I believe this is my first comment here, if i remember correctly. So I want to say that I have read For-the-record since March (when it was on blogspot) and it is great. Please, go on doing your awesome job:)

  9. Definetely would want Q&A for WoWp but instead of making separate posts include it in the regular Q&A as a separate section.

  10. If its not to much of a burden then go for it :)

Personaly I dont give a crap about WoWp since when I was playing it I had the feeling iam back on my PS2 playing some random arcade shit title from SEGA.

  11. Although I’m not interested in WOWP game, I think we could learn some on WOWP Q&A, like their developments there that could spark some interest. But I’m most definitely interested in WOWS if became available

    • +1, since doing Q&A for both games daily might be too tiring for you SS. No need to push yourself too hard. :3

  12. Regarding WoWs: there is a HUGE q&a thread on NA forum (in English of course, being NA), probably too big for most of you guys to read.

  13. Although I’m not playing it I might be interested on new feature/optimizations that might, somehow, bring me back.

If it’s not a burden, go for it.
And for a better opinion view, make a poll so we can vote it.

  14. Personally I think it’s a great idea to add WoWp. I think the community will grow like WoT (maybe less than WoT) but definitively growing.
But, yeah, if it’s give you too much work don’t do it ;)

  15. As someone who played quite a lot of beta and hasn’t touched it since release, I’d actually be interested in WoWP stuff. I maintain a hope that they’ll eventually tweak it into something that works. I wouldn’t want it daily or anything, just a weekly or bi-weekly update on where they’re at.

  16. i would like WoWp news also. i CBA to hunt 2-3 forums for news.
would be great to have them sumed up here – more reasons to return to FTR daily :)

  17. Stick with WoT please :). I dont mind WoWp Q&A but in separeted article, not in WoT`s one :).

  18. Id like to read the WoWp QA. As well as WoWS when they start talking about gameplay elements.

As NA player I want to see FTR remain my one stop shop for WoT translated Rus QA and boiled down EU QA.
